The Flood of Noah is not a literal account either. None of the Genesis writings are. They all contain hidden meaning.

HI

The legacy of the Fallen Angel's has always fascinated.
My time spent studying the Sitchin version ..the Anunnaki
This moved things along. ..yet I was still having pause with this Nibiru and 3600
Yrs and some of the rigid perspective demands Sitchin maintains in his many books

Sitchin gets one thinking...so here...it is a vehicle to ride around mythology
And find out what endures the fire of time.

The Hebrew/Jewish..Chaldea concordence is a great worker tool to get to root word
And root name meaning.

Studying out the name Jared

In the days of Jared...they came down

Jared...or Yah red in the conc. means to descend down...to come down from above
Or on high.
Some comment this means the heavens or from heaven...
Not sure if that's what really is in play here.

The country of Jordan and nearby Mt Hermon...the place of the descent.
Jordan. .is Yard dain in the conc...it's same root to Jared.

Like Noah and his name/ action....to be silent. ..the Earth was silent after the flood.

When comparing the Jewish redacted of what they were cobbling together in Babylon.

Got me thinking that the age before script and tablets...had an amazing history

The concept of gods and demi gods...Giant stature ...this teases out in Gilgamesh.

Some websites say he really was a king and son of this famous priest and lineage
From a goddess.

Mainstream history says first civ is Yada Yada. ..cave to agriculture and then
City life.

Randall Carlson says the world reboots after the ice age chaos...
It's not going to turn back on with the former all retained.
Yet it's a reboot where new programs overwrite the former.

Lots of species go extinct...Giants get tumbled.
Smaller size humans rise to organize societies.

As you pointed out....Gilgamesh has these teacher themes such as eternal life .

It causes one to ponder...What if these demi gods giant races which had their ages
What if they too wrestled with the Eternal life question.

With Gilgamesh...one asks what % of the stories have a core truth in them..
Especially after several cultures have manipulated and created their version of Gilgamesh.
Sumerians. .Akkadians..Babylonian's etc.

I'm fully convinced giants existed
What their spiritual state/consciousness was...a perspective I desire to understand.

Sitchin has them as Aliens.
The Hebrews say they are from the Realm of the Creator and bound by the Eternal Laws.

Other cultures have great Wise men moving across the Earth As teachers and leaders.

The Greeks seem to have the best framing of these beings character/nature
I am not well versed in Greek to know what root words do as function.

Maybe spend some time just learning basic Greek root imperative
Then one might see where the Greek is holding core info with allegory.

The Book of Enoch is of course a great resource...yet to..it's Allegory and
Agenda
One researcher of Hebrew Priest wars...Pharasee / Sadducee...noticed in
Enoch...one group was getting its Spiritual views clobbered by having the other
Groups thought incorporated into Enochs dialogue...sort of...We are the winners.

What % of Enoch is core?

His dialogue with the Fallen Angel's. ...sort of...You did it to yourself
You knew the Eternal Laws. ..

I can't negotiate your way out of this mess.

In the Book of Jubilees. .the chronology after the flood
Where Noah's children and families draw lots to see where their inheritance
Of land will be.

The family group which drew the lot for the region we know of as Iraq

Jubilees says that upon arriving in the land...they discovered written in Stone

The language of the Fallen Angel's. ..
Jubilees goes on to state they then became corrupted from learning the language
And began building great cities and sinning against Heaven.

So many cryptic themes. ..what is core truth.

If the above about finding the language of the Fallen ones is core...it would be
Evidence of a knowledge bridge from before the Ice age and the collapse

The Hebrew marks this as bad bad...

Was it really bad/ evil? ....or is their an agenda by scripting it so?

The previous age tumbled and giants = All bad...YHWY not pleased.

It's left to us to sort this out....way cool mystery.
