We consider ourselves so damn smart yet this belief in superstition creating technology and ignorance creating knowledge doesn't seem to offend people today. We don't undertstand the nature of human progress today so how are we supposed to understand primitive bumpkins?
Yes. They most obviously had science but rather than seeking the extraterrestrial or terrestrial source of that science we simply study their silly superstitions and call the resultant nonsense, science. Rather than seeking the nature of the science which would shed light on its source we count the number of angels which dance on the head of a pin and call it science. We trash the planet and waste its resources just as we waste human effort and genius on deciphering ancient superstitions. But we're the modern people with science so God help anyone who doesn't kow tow to the latest edicts from the ivory towers.
I have little doubt whatsoever that the ancient science came from the "stars". But in ancient times the stars were used as mnemonics to remember the past greats. These greats were mostly the individuals who had made important observations and discoveries. They were the theorists and linguists who encoded this theory into langfuage and its rules. They were the practical scientists who learned how to apply knowledge to the real world to affect peoples' lives. They lived in a meritocracy where each individual's contributions and abilities could easily be seen. None of them waited for experts to tell them what was real and what was not.
Of course it's also possible that the knowledge came from aliens who came from the stars. The Egyptians were Dogons plus the locals and the culture came from the west and south but the knowledge was and language were universal.
But I guess Egyptologists are too afraid to even study the pyramids so it might be decades yet before we really know the facts. In the meantime their silly assumptions have already been laid bare. There's nothing to support the assumption that the ancients believed in gods other than the interpretation of something even Egyptologists admit is mere incantation!
