All well said as usual. I am not sold on the geopolymer and zodiacal angles, but when all is considered the least compelling explanation for what is seen is that the great pyramids were built in succession as tombs for the attributed pharaoh they are ascribed to. One thing is for certain, regardless, is that the AE viewed pyramids in a funerary context and considered them in effect "resurrection machines", so if not originally tombs for the pharoahs, if ever, then where did this belief and imposition come from? Even if one does believe they were tombs, this is still a question that must be answered which such notions as they built pyramids because they were the easiest way to build big buildings I hope none are shallow enough to seriously impose such an ignorant explanation upon the AE.
It is clear, to me anyways, the great pyramids, and Saqqara, were conversions to pyramids from existing core structures meaning there was a point in time during the Naqada/Dynastic era that this ideology came to be of such import they expended the effort to convert them to pyramids and from that point kept building them. The burying of boats and the making of cenotaphs from the beginnings of Dynastic times, the origin of the Ben Ben stone, Atum and the primordial mound, mastabas as "houses for the dead", Mesopotamian ziggurats and influence- all of these I believe must have had some influence on this ideology in one way or another.
