I came in search of that long lost
civilization. A civilization that I hope
still exists. What I have a hard time understanding,
is why people still try to tie it with 4th Dynasty Egypt.
If Egypt was a successor to
that long lost civilization, it probably
dates back in origin to around 12,000 B.C., when
the first known cultures began there.
So when we see that Djoser's
Pyramid started out in mastaba form,
with a burial chamber, and transitioned into
what we see today as a step pyramid, with a burial
chamber, why is it so hard to understand the next transition
into a true pyramid, with a burial chamber.
I consider most everyone here
better educated, and more informed than
I am on these matters, but I just don't understand
why we continuously try to attach The Pyramids at Giza to
this long lost ancient civilization, when the evidence we do have suggests otherwise.
All the very best,
