*grins* I've known Pete about 20 years in this online world of ancient Egypt, and I can tell you he is not just a puppet. :) In fact, he and I and a few others (proudly?) claim the distinction of being involved in the same way you are right now.
Yeah, I don't think they know my background. Remember True Origins? It's a shame the wayback machine isn't working right now. My original position, as you remember I'm sure, was heavily influenced by Cayce and other alternative positions like Hancock, West, and Bauval. In fact I was West's webmaster for some time. It was difficult for me to accept the evidence contradicting theories or positions I believed were correct. But I did. It's not the mystery I was in love with, but a quest to understand the past in whatever form it took. I think the most informative discussions were on Andrew's site with George Johnson, Brent, Andrew and that gang going at it with us. And that Sir Maftet guy. :)
