Don't despair. There are numerous scientific tests and experiments that have never been applied to the pyramids. The water they used had to have a source and this source can be identified. Even if isn't the way the water was used and how much energy it had can be found and computed.
This nut will be cracked in the next few years so long as they keep doing the science. It might be much sooner. ;)
