I shudder at the term "Master Race" being attached to this as this is partly what removed it from favor in the first place. How about "Meso-Elite" instead. Anyhoo, very possible but at the very least some flavor of Near Eastern/Anatolian. I think that Elam also has a part to play in all this. It should be noted that some of the early elite skeletal remains Petrie found were quite robust with large dilochocephalic (elongated) skulls bordering on unusual beyond just comparison to local populations. This is no doubt part of this story of which elongated skulls are part and parcel of Mesopotamian culture dating back at least 9,000yrs which was also an integral part of AE royal culture for over 2,000yrs. Strange but very interesting. A story for another time.
I have to separate these sub-topics or else this gets too cluttered.
Meso-Elite...if it makes you feel better.
Anatolia...you asked and shall receive...not just some flavour...the main dish!
The key feature of J2 is that it co-distributed with bull-worship.
I looked at an older thread where you guys got into each other's hairs over elongated skulls before the getting anywhere...a common occurrence on this forum where the rethoric is a major stumbling block. The one main aspect I saw missing is that elongated skulls, while part of a normal variation, can also be caused by certain genetic diseases and if you see clustering of that feature in royal blood lines, you can also consider an autosomal dominant ailment...such as Marfan's syndrome...tall statuesque people with distinctly Akhenaten-like features and elongated skulls...features which made them imposing and royal looking in the first place (see Abe Lincoln). Marfan's is one of a few genetic disease where you get elongated skulls. This is actually even more useful in testing your Meso-Elite theory than normal variation. The two entombed children you showed most likely had the same genetic ailment...possibly Marfan's which is why they died early.
