Falcon on a half-circle
Later, falcon on palace facade.
I propose iry-hor ruled when the White Walls stood but weren't conquered yet. Upper Egypt unified before all of Egypt. This is the model. What argues against this?
The Serekh's first appearance (your OP) comes after the conquest of Lower Egypt...See Nethenhotep...that appears to be the earliest serkh if dating is correct...do you agree?
Is there anything which contradicts this so far..can you show me a serekh which is proven to pre-date tomb B1/2 content?
Re medical...can you send me a reference which shows medical texts from Sumer which predate the content of the Ebers and Smith Papyri? You are showing a ritualistic treatsie from around 2400 B.C.. That could have been based on knowledge from Egypt...there is no directional import demonstrated by that unless you don't believe the Smith text is a copy from texts much older.
But you cannot compare to the medical treatsies described in Ebers (60 square foot!) and Smith...by far the majority of Sumerian tablets are prescriptions, not treatsies. The one exception is the "Treatise of Medical Diagnosis and Prognoses" which is roughly contemporary with Smith.
Egyptian medicine was unparalleled by anything else recorded in the world anywhere at that time hands down and I doubt this came from Mesopotamia the alleged source state whose records ought to be even more impressive and they are not. What we have from them is like a handout compared to the textbook we got from Ebers.
