Here's a topic that has people in an uproar on the Internet. It is the "myth" that the early native Americans could not mentally envision the ships of Columbus. I've heard this currently in the last few years; don't know who started it. The question, really, is how does the brain REGISTER INPUT from the senses? Does it only register FAMILIAR SCENES, but not unfamiliar scenes? This is

My Dad was an engineer; my Mother was creative. I studied electronics but could not "get" circuitry. So, I depend on analogy more than facts.

The dam will not hold the water very much longer. The psychic trauma is intense enough trying to come to a resolution about where did this all come from? The debate is hotter than ever looking for an answer. I just hope for survival, that's all.

What with my work life and my private life, I've had little interest in accessing the Akashic Records. I did do one good meditation at the end of "Messages of the Masters", Brian Weiss. The access of my past lives were interesting to say the least. I had info on 3 of them; Egypt, Greece and current history (1700's) in America. I have not been profusely interested in such meditations, bu

Thankyou profusely grangram for that very short yet amazing video! I personally have seen portions of every continent except central and south America due to my Dad's profession. Of my siblings I was the one raised mostly overseas. I can attest to the varied BEAUTY of different lands and their people. I do appreciate and remember the life I lived for the first 20 years of my life. Beauty is anoth

Good evening everyone. Happy New year! I understand why enigcom left this Forum. I highly value his contribution to this forum, as anyone can see his wisdom. I just accept the fact that I can go away, like he did, and not be a contributor anymore. I would love to stay, but that may not be possible.

I hear fireworks going on outside. New Years eve was yesterday. I believe that some people continue the celebration long after the cause is past. Why? Because it is necessary to ENSURE a good year. It could be superstition or just an expense of unused fireworks. Regardless, the ambition to SUCCEED is common. Maybe not Perfection, but, at least a success in bringing in a New Year.

You know what, Carolb, why do martial artists, musicians, writers PRACTICE until it hurts? The common notion is that being the Best one can be is better than mediocrity. I wholeheartedly am convinced of this DRIVE (as Arnold Schwarzenegger said).

I never realized that my removed post caused so much response. I was stupid to post it, since it was "out of touch" with reality I love this Forum, but I was going to leave this Forum. As I said on my last post, I am a speculator, not a scientist. Again, all of you have knocked some sense into me.

I'm sorry. I don't have any interesting ideas that have "evidence". I'm a speculator, not a scientist.

December 31, 2016: Happy New Years eve! I just hope that I may keep my job this coming year. I suspect so. My life is a recurring cycle these days. Most of my "living" occured when I was younger because of my father's work travelling to different countries. And, I have had many jobs over the years. My philosophical times are currently my most important subject, since I am a senior etc

This may sound more like just a bunch of hooey; so take it or leave it. Have you ever heard of the Harmonic Convergence, August 16, 17, 1987? What have you possibly learned from the end of the movie, The Fifth Element, where a dark asteroid is averted by a human intermediary? Or, modern physics that proclaims that the OBSERVER influences the experiment. All those who intend all to be WELL shoul

Smart you are! I actually get respectful insight from your comments. I don't know if I will continue this Forum next year (writing), but I will continue reading the fascinating subjects with perhaps a comment or two. I am actually hooked on to this Forum. Great insights and topics. See you next year!

Carbon based alien lifeforms living underground? As always, I just don't know! Other than my sighting of a strange moving object a while ago, I just can't say, "absolutely"! Besides who would freak-out if such possibilities really exist? That's right--ME! ALONG WITH OTHERS!

Perhaps randompHactor is on target. I read the link to mileswmathis.com on the post about Buddhism (inner space category) and do regard being imperfect as more real than the unlikely perfection. However, it should likely be a HOPE to persevere to a better estate than when one got here (birth). If this sounds like a diary it is because I devoted time to express my current ESTATE. As I said to ran

Maybe. It is after all a journey. I know every day is different from the last, especially mentally!!!! I haven't rode a horse in almost three decades, but I learned to handle a horse. And so much more so my driving skills have improved over many years. The step by step method is still operative in this world, no MORE, no LESS. You are a curious fellow, randompHactor. We have and are still throug

Just a small note, here. I wrote a thesis on Inner Space called the Nine Universal Ideals to Obtain Perfection. This will introduce you to my particular understanding of the subject. I also read Supernatural by Graham Hancock. I am of the opinion that he used psychedelics as a Source to Obtain understanding for the content of his book. I don't believe that encouragement to use psychedelics was hi

I have read the link on D-Archer's post and completely concur with Mathis' treatise on the poison of Buddhism's anti-life teachings. I suffer because of mental sickness, sometimes horrid, yet my triumph is to get past the intrusions of unwanted thoughts/feelings. Anyway, I am a westerner, not an easterner. I prefer my solace in the greater Spirit of life. If you have not read the link, please do

Dear Harmony, you chose a good name for your posts. As such, I ventured into that arena many times. I, too, became psychic, or , at least I thought so. I could never prove that I was having conversations with people. This was in the 1970s. I became "bothered" by that intrusion on my mind in 1983 and was hospitalized. The Doctor took tests of my psychology and diagnosed me as Paranoid/Sc

I love this Jedi business! If I could lift a spaceship, or a car, for that matter, then I would not need a tow truck, at least for a "lift"?

That is good. The situation is that I borrowed credit and am paying for four more years. I don't have spare cash for going camping (really, it's that bad), canoeing, exploring the State I live in. I do have hundreds of books to entertain and sometimes inspire me, and old DVDS to watch, again. Anyways, I enjoy life with all of its twists and turns. That, too, is ENTERTAINING to me, sometimes funny

When I was 8 years old I watched the Mary Martin version of Peter Pan, and I was flying right along with Peter Pan and companions. Why? It was COMPELLING IMAGINATION that made me feel good (yes, I know that sounds like drug use and for the same reasons: to feel DIFFERENT). I have seen alot of sci-fi and fantasy movies because it is ENTERTAINING, or, should I say, Compelling. I don't actually beli
