Thanks, Mark, and I did read the post as well as the part 2 followup. And self-responsibilty/self-accountabiilty does have multiple layers. It's more than a simple decision. Rather, it's a transformation in consciousness. I appreciate your perspectives, openness, and the avid discussions you've catalyzed. You are a terrific Author of the Month. And your book is simply intriguing. Lew

The most palpable feeling is one of surprise. I just can't believe that I just said something and am puzzled by where it came from. Friends tell me it's a psychic gift of intuitively knowing someone's 'hot button' and spontaneously pushing it. The result is, most times, positive. Lew

Hi Graham, Thanks for this personal story. It was illuminating to read. And, please take my word for it that your factual writing has inspired countless readers. I am one of them. And I know many others. So, in closing, it is apt to cite one of Mark Twain's oft-quoted quips about writing: "Why shouldn't truth be stranger than fiction? Fiction, after all, has to make sense."

Hi Mark, Such spontaneous comments are off-beat and may well sound bizarre. I neither agree or disagree with them before or afterward. And, 4 times out of 5, such comments lead to a deeper discussion. This connection enhancement with strangers is the gift in this weird 'talent' that keeps me from duct-taping the out-of-control mouth.

Mark, your reply contained a great message. I am convinced that 100% self-accountability is the next transformational step for humankind. It is the teaching of the looming solar age to be conceived on 21 December 2012. It's time to release the vestiges of victim mentality. After all, has the age of victimhood done much for us?

Hi Mark, For me, it's often ideas or words that seem to appear in my consciousness without any precursor. These can have elements of all the features you mentioned -- and more. I frequently will suddenly say something 'out of the blue' that is meaningful to a stranger. This got stronger about 10 years ago after an "NDE" in which I was out of the body for 20-30 minutes.

Darwin's own notebooks show that he independently developed 'his' ideas. This also happens in Hollywood on an annual basis. The screenwriter's guild has a yearly competition for the best new, original screenplay. And each year, a noticeable proportion of submissions are strangely about the same or a similar subject. I knew the late author & filmmaker Michael Crichton. Why do you think Dr

Aloha Thomas, Thanks so much for your courageous hosting on this relevant topic. I died briefly (20-30-minutes) about a decade ago and kept mum for months about what I had gone through, which was profound beyond words. It is fair to say that dying was the best experience of my life. My journey out of the body shared nine of the 15 common features in your summary of "NDE" repor

Aloha Aneth, Well, I had always felt I would die at the age I was that year of 11 September 2001. Don't ask me how, but I had deeply known this since late childhood. (And multiple Mark-Grant-type synchronicities had always pointed to the same timing.) So during the preceeding several years, I had given away most of my estate and prepared a first-ever will for any remaining assets. When I r

Aloha Aneth, Yes, Mark Grant's works are the real deal. He is pioneering the advance of wisdom on a topic that remained static for the better part of a century after Jung. Thanks for the airline input from British Airways pilots. I had been oblivious to anything beyond my personal experience, which was rather intense. I had a first-class seat across the Atlantic and the same onward to LA

Aloha Aneth, Great question on a daring topic! Most people are more like Mike. They'd rather avoid discussing such mind-bending matters. For years, I had an intense, recurring nightmare about being in the 1st class cabin of an airplane on which something was DESPERATELY wrong. The view out of the window revealed that the plane was flying into a dense city and was about to crash into tall bui

It's a good point. Public misunderstanding of science is rampant. And I agree. The "International Commission of Earthquake Forecasting for Civil Protection (ICEF)" is a genuine misnomer. It's definitely time to consider clarity in communications for generalised consumption. What's in a name? Apparently, much more than I personally had ever believed might be important. Lew

Aloha everyone, Today I mistakenly launched a duplicate thread on the Italian court's guilty verdict on the 7 esteemed scientists who failed to predict a catastrophic earthuake. Somehow and obviously, I missed this thread. I did scan the initial posting and mistakenly thought it was about the lovely islands of New Zealand. And I also missed the News Desk article on 22nd October. I apprecia

I've been watching this board for 2 weeks and waiting for someone to raise the subject of Italian injustice to scientists. So, before the link expires, here is a 'current events' story about what I perceived as a truly alarming development: As Susan Hough, a U.S.G.S. seismologist, said: “It’s a sad day for science.” Lew

Hi Mike, At a minimum, we can say that the possibility of aliens interbreeding with humans or humanoids cannot be disproved. However, the phalanx of choreographed negativity toward alternative views is so starkly negative that most authors, including myself, would rather steer clear of expressing such ideas in order to avoid being than dismissed out of hand. For example, look at how Graham H

Aloha Mike, I have had many e-interactions with Luke since last summer. We have never met personally, and I share the appreciation you expressed. Luke Hancock has always been responsive, helpful and clear. A true steward wearing many hats, including the thankless cap of a forum moderator. In this case, the apple has fallen quite close to the tree. And I am a long-time Graham Hancock fan as
