David, Beautiful vessels! I agree with you entirely that the fluoride weathering on the agate piece brings out even more detail in the piece. The other piece that catches my eye is the nephrite lovers cup with the nipples along the exterior. You mentioned that it was likely done with a stone disc of some kind. It appears that some of the discs have some degree of weathering on them, especially in the 3rd image from the bottom. How does this compare with weathering on other materials that the Hongshan used to carve with like nephrite and agate?
