I’m very familiar with the sites you mention. I have followed GH since 1994. I’m also an avid follower of R Scoch, R Bauval, JAW, and Randall Carlson. When I read most of the message board posts, it’s as if, very few people are familiar with their works. Glad you brought this into the thread. Seems either no one wants to address it or there isn’t any available information out there. It is certainly an anomaly that deserves investigation as it checks a lot of the “Plato-boxes”.

I tend to follow the theory proposed by Robert Scoch, Robert Bauval and Graham Hancock in that it’s a lioness. Schoch has a document posted on his webpage that includes glyph translations referring to the Sphinx as a lioness. However, there is also a plausible theory that the cheetah was a result of genetic manipulation by an ancient advanced civilization to produce a supreme hunter and pet.
