Drew, I was 51 in 2005. I am a reluctant work horse (Chinese horoscope). I just keep getting out of bed to do it all over again. Once I have my stride I'm okay. I did the traveling until this year, 2018, because of weariness and a jaded heart. I keep telling my boss, who is just under 40 years, that my traveling is over. I could, but I don't see the need for it. My home and my mind give me more t

Ron, you are a phenomenon!! Drew, I had parents that left the Albany area and began government work from DC. I began to travel since two years old. My last overseas life ended when I turned 20. I've been in this neighborhood since that change in 1974. I took one year in Maryland/DC/ Virginia, then came back "home". 1980 was my settle down time, though it took many years to accept it.

Gerda, anything you say IS contagiously appropriate for the sunny and cloudy days. You have your private world in the woods. That gives you special insights that us city folks don't know or missed somehow. At least I DO NOT have TV service. I watch DVD only. That means I buy new ones frequently. I just don't like commercials or the corporate news channels. Blah!! There is a magazine called

Gerda, you may be the ONLY person who can solve this situation. Do you have a smartphone with video capabilities? Please video your water in the toilet. I don't understand how the water goes counterclockwise and then clockwise. Show us what you are experiencing by adding a video. That will solve everything in a few seconds of PROOF.

Drew, I am responding to your last two posts. For one, I am going to be 64 years old this year (couple of months). That is like telling you that I will be 17 years old: it doesn't matter much. What matters is the state of my mind and life. There are challenges to face today. Almost ALL CHALLENGES are mental, with the response team of life on life's terms. Any change is likely to make a per

I fully understand that peculiar ideas are hard to accept, much less to understand. The force of this idea came from logical deduction after the initial mental image to start this piece of thought. It is just as I imagined it. I came to the conclusion that the form of light is correctly a sphere, not as a straight line. Uniformity is the cue to its veracity. Spheres are everywhere. So, l

My following of Buddhist thought has come from two books and the Buddhist Center in town though I have not attended the path whatsoever for many years. "The ceasing of Notions" is the best model of simplicity offered by any Buddhist thought. Our notions are a distraction from the simple living of Buddhist life. "Buddhism is not what you Think". It is a book of "see

I had a cat (fixed male) that resented the change to my condominium and urinated everywhere, my bed included..I graciously allowed two whole years for him to stop urinating, but to no avail. At the old house he was the king of the property, fighting off intruder cats. At my condo I was not willing to let him go outside and fight other cats. It was a traumatic decision to let him go. It

A pet theory is just as unreliable as any pet animal. I had to put down a pet due to irrational pet behavior that gave me much grief. So, likewise a pet theory is naturally unreliable, just like a rat that will bite you for not feeding it sooner. I may be guilty of a pet theory on the Science board-( Spherical Spectrum ). But I know that my theory is contestable, which I accept as fact.

I just lost my response to this OP. I will shorten the response to several questions. WHAT ANCIENT CIVILISATION IS OPERATIVE IN PRE-HISTORY (the period before written accounts)? WHO COULD HAVE EDUCATED THEIR COUSINS TO BUILD THE GREAT MONUMENTS? WHY DO WE MODERNS FAIL TO ACKOWLEDGE ANY INTELLIGENCE BEFORE THE WRITTEN HISTORY? DOES WRITTEN HISTORY NOT SPEAK OF THE "FIRST TIME&qu

On my post in the Science board I clearly admitted that my unfounded idea was LIKELY a pseudo science apparition. It has no research proof, yet I surrendered the idea to others who MAY be interested in doing the research and come to a conclusion. The name of the post is, "Spherical Spectrum", where I gave a rather loose definition of my proposal. It is anyone's toy idea to play or de

Gerda, I'm a science fiction fan. I heard about the Silurians from Doctor Who. Did you read about the meteorite that came close to Earth on Sunday this past week? Way to close for me!!!

Great insight, Gerda. My question obviously has to do with the lifespan of our human species, in hundreds, or thousands of years. At least some astronomers are watching a vast sky for irregularities of movement. Still, we all have our "must do" occupations. I don't live in a house anymore, but a condominium. My work is mostly my job. I have home duties but there is no hurry to do all

Michael, you can't really have it both ways. You either do HAVE a suspicion of aliens, or you don't subscribe to the possibility of such things. I tend toward the highest likelihood of Them, rather than dashing them to the rocks. There is too much Space to exclude Them from the Big Picture. There are, after all, other Galaxies like our own. Something must be out there!!! As for the Milky Wa

I just got a notice on my phone. It said that we usually consider wind to blow horizontally. In fact, it is more common for wind to blow vertically, from high to low. This has to do with cold air coming down to the ground, removing warm air along the way. The Hermetica says, in its chapter, "Ignorance of the soul", says that the human opportunity to come to know (the divine), and tha

Yes, Drew. Consciousness in Spacetime rallying for significance in an uncaring situation. Oh, how we try. Someone once said, "trying is dying". I can only "act as if". Yeah, integrity is such a laboratory of possibilities. Everything to do is an effort of will, except when life rolls right through our paths. Isn't it a laughable situation? I have only noticed habits and

I agree with the sense of humour part. I've seen a good amount of British films in my time. I am watching "World without end" right now. It is greatly "realistic" and I guess that makes it good.

I was unable to utilize a sketchbook app, so, I will be describing the proposition. One, the light spectrum is shown in a one-dimensional format; from the outermost gamma rays (one diagram of the spectrum includes the "cosmic rays" to the left of gamma rays). The outermost right hand displays radio waves (longwaves in Amplitude Modulation; AM radio). The gamma rays are desc

I was intrigued about the iron oxide deposits on all of those crop circles investigated. That material would make the crops susceptible to electromagnetic influence. The video showed, toward the ending portion, an orb flying over the chosen spot and made it look like a very swift pulse(with a design in its influence) upon the crops being manipulated by the orb. It was about 2 to 4 seconds of vide

Susan, a short word I offer before retiring for the night: It is SO easy. Every person MUST EXPLORE THE PATHS THAT ARE GIVEN TO THEM, yours included. It is a requirement of consciousness that every person who is SERIOUS about conscious evolution (Barbara Marx Hubbard, author of the same named concept) will undergo that VERY PATH that they are on, WHERE EVER IT MAY LEAD TO. I am in my curious s

Susan, I was being philosophical when I said that I would never make mistakes IF I HAD MORE ANSWERS THAN QUESTIONS. It was a little sarcasm about the usual quest in life. Mysteries abound, answers are scarce.

Ideas don't just come out of nowhere. They come after a process of contemplation and analysis. I will be introducing an X,Y,Z graph to illustrate my conjecture. There is not one scientist who does not consider a theory without due process of, first, a theory that CAN be tested with new technology designed specifically for a designated test. I will get back to this on the weekend. Never r

Why, Susan? Why can't you accept the valid concept of Vibrations which include all Frequencies known and soon to be discovered? I am of the opinion that the light spectrum is circular, even spherical, which means the non-visible frequencies are just as real as the visible. The "dark" side of the spectrum obviously has frequencies that do not register to our eyes. Has anyone ever monitor

Kristen, it isn't so much about physics proper but of science IN GENERAL. We humans are lazy, stopping just before the DISCOVERY. It always seems to be that the next generation finds what the pioneers failed to intuit. Einstein was overmatched by later scientists who discovered the quantum world. Here, I POSTULATE that the spectrum is circular, not two-dimensional, but marvelously three-dimen
