Hallucinations, what they really are, how they "work", and what to do about their APPEARANCE. I've had four separate episodes of hallucinations, and one Grand Dream episode. The very first (I will call them visions, because that is what visually appears--also, there is sometimes a voice that speaks in one's mind), began when I was near my 25th birthday. The honest fact is that mos

Working with difficult people challenges my self-discipline. I know the personal consequences of anger and yelling. It is never a wanted behavior no matter WHO DOES IT. I, again, quote the Proverbs: "Better a patient man than a warrior, a man who controls his temper than one who takes a city". I live by those words. Here is another quote from I Thessalonians, "Make it your ambition

Absolutely, Gerda. When the ghosts of the past visit a person, then, and only then will change offer its basic virtue: self-honesty. Then the decisions come around to break the cycle. That's when change begins. Who knows what ails another? I keep to my decisions, even if I have to do it several times. Discipline is the key action to change. That's the best that I know.

You can't tell someone something that they don't see for themselves. We are taught from the inner musings of thought and experiential activities. I've personally witnessed OBSESSIVE behavior that does not know the outcome of their behavior. There is always a REACTION to repetitious behavior, most DEFINITELY negative in nature. If it is co-dependent interaction, then the amount of players does not

To communicate change is good, but active social "intervention", or, "influence" requires a massive effort. This Forum is hardly sufficient to reach SO MANY PEOPLE.

Susan, are you proselytizing? It sounds LIKE you are inadvertently implying that billions of people are not conducive to a healthy child-rearing? Are you really STRETCHING yourself that FAR?

Yes, Susan. You play as if you were on a sports team.

Susan, you are incredible!! The ONLY other option is that a child is psychic, which you reject. Maybe they heard something on TV. Whatever. You just don't get the theme of discovery. You have molded your mind to a comfortable arena of limited acceptance for exploratory pastimes. Good for you, not for me. Tom

Gerda, in Christian terms, it is called "Ressurection". Though I contend that what Jesus said about John the Baptist was that he was Elijah (Elias). That training in India prepared Him to teach all truth. That's good enough for me. He clearly knew the subject of reincarnation. I suspected that His example during His own coming back to life is one of the oldest, agricultural, patterns of

Remember, Edgar Cayce was fond of past lives, especially in Atlantis and Mu. His book, Reincarnation and Karma is well ordered information on this subject. He has other books, needless to say. The ARE Foundation has kept his work alive, and they should be investigated thouroughly.

I really would like to ask one question: If there was a MAJOR INVESTOR of the most important element worth investing in, then WHY WOULD THAT INVESTOR DUMP THE MOST VALUABLE ASSET? In this case, it is the Universe that has invested in intelligence, which is manifest as consciousness. So, would you trash and dump BEING if you had worked millions of years in research and development? I think N

I'll have to finish reading the link as it is definitely very profound to even read the text. Susan, try to understand how non-movement is reality and that movement is dependent upon non-movement to actually exist. I barely understand it myself. It is the very State of non-movement that every creature lives to abide in. Why else do we creatures love rest and sleep over exertion and excitation

That's the point--a symbolic element across most ancient cultures. There is room for assessed conjectures based on the similarities between the various separated cultures. It is fundamental that widely separated cultures have, somehow, a similarity that could be the result of trade or conquered peoples. I don't know if morphogenesis is applicable in these separate cultures; a template in the g

Ray, I must interject here. The GOAL is to get THAT REALIZATION one is searching for. I believe that the lady who introduced the book, "The Path of the Masters" is in a REALIZED state of Being. I'm rather in "PURSUIT" of the Realization. We will eventually get to these conversations as I study this new information. Tom I also sent you a PM.

Wow, Gerda!! Do you have wires to transmit your song to your Pad? Then copy it to here? I used to play with a keyboard, though I am not a real musician. I played one Christmas song; Patapan. I also used sound effects for a single song(long gone now).

Dr. Ray, I must confess that, however long you've been a Christian, I can't help thinking how I was back in the 1980's. I was SUSCEPTIBLE to any teaching that came my way through the church experiences I had at that time in my late 20's and early 30's. I was not exactly safe and confident back then. I was a question away from leaving the whole experience. If it were not for the 12-step environmen

I wish you hadn't mentioned tape recorders. I had a Sony, which my friends and I tore up with crazy recordings of fast and slow speed. It was nuts!!! The other one was my parent's, a Revox Studio recorder. I used the echo functions liberally. Anyways, past lives of my teen years. As for trusting, I have heard my boss jokingly say you're "fired" for some mistake I made at work. I

Every actor is convinced of their role. The challenge is to convince others of that role. Academy awards are a pat on the back, if all goes well. The gist of acting is; did one convince the recipient? I just bought a new smartphone and am working out the kinks, new passwords and all. It is a bear in the woods; new phone new problems. I have to replace all of the apps and bookmarks(if I can fin

I have a slight interest in ancient structures and the stories of ancient human beings. I would like to add a note of scrutiny. 1. The problem of any discovery is a problem of PERCEPTION; not ours, but of those ancient people's. Who they perceived, what they knew, and how those perceptions affected their civilization. 2. Again, the ancients would most likely have had an INTERPRETATION o

Ron, The Hour Candle, by it's name, is off of an album that highlighted the departure of the Irish to the distant land of America, with tears leaving their ancient home. The candle is short lived, implying the last port of departure from Ireland. The last light that informed the Irish heart of their once blazing bonfire of national and spiritual wealth before the unknown shore of America, where a
