My post is not a complaint, it is a poll for the temperature of the Mysteries board in reference to posts and their relevance to this board....regardless of personal opinion. If the meaning of the word poll (or curiosity ) has been changed to reflect the meaning of complaint, then by all means have Webster give me a call. "Cheers", RR

It seems to me that there used to be a LOT of very pertinent posts that are no longer on this board. I don't ever remember seeing posts that were "supposedly inflamatory" , yet still within the topic of this board, ever being removed before. Anyone else see this? My favorite posts that were here, and now gone, were about Hawass, and also very open minded discussions on religious foun

Not to go TOO off of the subject but, have you seen anything on this?? I caught a special on the history channel (might have been discovery), that showed this team of people using wind power (giant Kites/parachutes) to move HUGE (several tons) obelisks into holes with the use of large tripods and wind. The Show was a definite eye-opener. If you get a chance you might look for the show...hope

Anyone have any aerial views of Giza Plateau that also show the nile??? I'd really lke to see an aerial shot to maybe see if there are any clues to the possiblity of 2 Sphinx(es?). Read a theory that has been dropped quite a few times due to The Nile's movement east over time. Anyone have any info on where the position of the Nile was in the old/new kingdoms? I think that this would really pis

Check this out....LOL I figured that it was worth a shot. I am pretty certain that I will get shot down though. I didn't mention the website/message board due to the lack of respect shown to "alternative archeology" by some scholars. Let's hope that I at LEAST get a response, hehe. WOW! Such animosity in this post. Now, since we are human, we all have mood swings....obviously found in my first addition to this thread. I have to say that Jerome and Jon both have very good points, but man think what would happen if we all had the financial backing we need to channel our angst, for what the modern scholars think and will not retreat from, into proving our theories. The probl

Great point Romulus. That is the best description of the Academic response to finds that will rewrite the textbooks....and if we're lucky, put those people out of business. If the teachers of our youth are closed minded, then my tax dollars should be closed to those teachers too. When we become afraid of change, then we might as well stop pursuing truth.

Well HELLO Huub! Glad to see that you are here. I am reading a site right now, that follows along the same theory as you own. see link>>> This is Jim Alison's site, and is right in line ( no pun intended ) with the findings of many other theorists. I was actually sort of disturbed when I saw the post on the Great circle pentagram beacuse I had talked to Michel Demaria about this ve

All I can say to that is, "AMEN"... I am a recovering Catholic myself...bad joke. The day that the internet becomes overly censored, is that day that I hang it up.

Stellar idea OakeyDokey. Again, on the ban... I've been losing "faith" LOL. I am stunned at the findings of these researchers, and just don't want to see "alternate archeology" (as I keep hearing it referred to) fall into the "trap" that the rest of the world's scholars fall into. It seems that a concensus is trying to formed, but never will be. Our personal striv

I personally feel that Hawass is a puppet. He may be well-educated, but my instincts have always wrenched when he has been in ANY documentary. If you want to turn your head from the truth, then turn it.....just don't make the rest of the world suffer while doing it. Rob

Ah, thanks Steve. I think that that my mood last night bordered on pretty pessimistic. I shouldn't post in that kind of mood. I just feel that there are so many awesome theories here, and that a collaboration of efforts doesn't always go over too well in some circles. There is a connection, in my mind, between all of these theories, and I see them as different variables in a larger equation.

As I stated above, I got the 22ft from the website that I surfed. It'll take me some time to find the thing again...you know the whole caught a link from a link. Anyway, the photos from the site weren't showing chainlink and only 4 ft high. They showed concrete/cinder block and at least 11 feet in height. So, as soon as I find the site again...I'll be glad to drop it here. Not questioning wh

It seems to me that there are a couple of theories are on this Board that could be used in conjunction with each other to find a greater answer. The people studying the global layout of the ancinet structures. The people studying ancient languages (ante-dilluvian). The people studying ancient structures that point to precession. The people studying the Masons, Shriners, Knights Templar...and

I don't want to try and speak for ANYONE but myself....Thank you in advance.....RR That is a REALLY good question Cynthia! Yes Maria, It was on the Discovery Channel in America. I would REALLY like to see his other specials too. I believe that I remember seeing a transcript on it.....NO NO...sorry, I am thinking of the Ancient Egypt art exhibit that I went to see in Fort Worth, Texas. If we are lucky, we might be able to find out if Mr. Hancock could let us download (or even purchase<<<for the greater cause

Whilst reading Huub's incredible website, I saw something that struck me as interesting. The Cretan Labrynth...which was braoken down into it's essence by Huub. Once broken down into quadrants, the Labrynth became something familiar looking...a sine wave made up of square waves. My question is, If we were to take the exact measurements of this sine wave....that is in the exact porportion of th
