Heyya Audrey, Earth tilt, yes. And the drawn constellations on the image is just the transposed view provided on GoogleEarth, at what ever particular timestamp the author of the program decided to lock that view in at. More-so it is to see the ecliptic of the constellations. I am doing the Egyptian one at the moment, and should have a view of their constellation's ecliptic soon. I think there g

Yeah, a bit of fun %) And thanx. For a bit more playfulness, some time back, a topic arose concerning Gobleki Tepe and I commented that it was a pretty darn intricate calendar. Considering the faces of the 'T' pillars show different animals, either by themselves or with a few others, I would say this shows the constellations also, but according to the time period the site was constructed in. HEYya Patty, Well, you have my interest...I haven't read their book yet, but what it is that you do is very curious. Sorry I cannot add to your topics here, but I do look forward to reading more of your topics/posts. %) hann-d drew

Hmmm...not sure what to think of some of this. I mean, some folks have some strange articles, others have some strange photos, and yet, while some things seem to have a readily acceptable and simple solution to their strangeness, others seem to be lacking just a different way of describing something. The Puma Punku article offered up some names and sources for site-interpretations, but I guess s

Heyyas, I am not sure if this has been done before, and as such, would like to pose a kind of question. In playing around with various ancient sites, I was wondering if there is any connection between a grander plan of alignments of such sites, rather than some being located here and there according to the culture that conceives them. With the images below, I have used the locations of the Kulk

Viewzone? I guess I'll find out what that is. On another note, all the best for 2010! And what's this I read about something hidden 200 m below ground level at PP? I better check that out again as I am sure I must be mistaken. CHEERS Ron! %) drew

Heyya Hendrik, For a little bit more fascination with the area of interest, check out Mt Kailash - Wiki is a good start - and links that might show a little bit more interest concerning Lake Rakshastal and Lake Manasarovar...these being only a few miles apart, and yet one is fresh water and the other salt water. If you want to get more playful, filter through Buddhist attachments to this area...

Gotta love football, no matter what country we're from. I spent most of my life in the water (my brother played rugby union though...big fella my brother, center of the scrum). Surfing and free-diving...well, blew my ear drums coming up after the deepest I'd ever been...I didn't know one has to equalize at rest-stops on the way back up lol. Amateur. Ah well, they work still;) I can't go any furt

Ave Jester! The biggest game in town is in beating the clock by implementing a new strategy. Some don't like playing the same game twice. It's boring during the final moves, like watching the final stages of Chess where nothing can be done to defend the King when the Queen is the last to be taken. Ah, but a pawn is sometimes a lot stronger when it was the first one moved to that really stupid-lo

Sheesh Rob! Talk about getting caught up in the mathematics of it all...once again :) I like your yellow circles - in reference to the inner core-circle? - but again, the allusion to so much sophistication by the Ancients in not just identifying what matters against what does not matter and how to portray it, does lead one away from the easy solution of 'what feels right' as opposed to 'what is

I can't keep thinking, lol. Oh, okay, just a little bit. The core of those impassioned words...as a personal acceptance of what 'it' kind of accepted - to the best of my current abilities to identify - is no matter how far the seed falls from the tree, or where it lands, its inherent-nature is set to mimic its progenitor, and the perception of harsh conditions is not a weakening factor for survi

It wouldn't be fair to us as an individual to be able to grasp every aspect of our past, our connections, our unique existance as being separate from everything, and yet of everything...with everything...everything experiencing some aspect of itself through the existance of just one part of it. It certainly does appear that the more we delve into the past through viewing the future, the closer w

Can I throw a strange one in, to do with the numbers of 17, 26 and 33. Would these signify alphabets at all? In the sense of looking at 26 as English, 17 possibly Ancient Egyptian - maybe - , and 33 as...hmmm... I don't know...something from India? Or any other languages but focusing on English as the 26. I came across some articles to do with Dropa Stones, and have gone all over the place with

Heyyas, Okay, for some specific locations that appear to be interesting to me: 1. 0° 0'5.12"S; 146°39'50.96"W This location is about 152 miles at angle 90 deg from a location I consider to be one central point of my Yin Yang overlay upon the planet - at 0° 0'0.00"S; 148°51'57.39"W 2. 0°41'48.52"S; 31° 2'13.41"E This location is about 48 miles at about 188 deg f

Heyya Sally, Looks are something to go by, I guess. Many Australian Aborigine tribes are spitting images of certain of the oldest tribes in India. Seems strange in that we cannot truly identify which was in their homeland first, and spread to the other %)

I'll have to get back to you on that. GoogleEarth's EMAG2 doesn't really show anything that i can speculate about; just downloaded NASA's World Wind in the hopes i can use a couple of its add-ons, but I'll have to learn a bit about it before I can use and understand it lol. If I was to go another route on why PP is where it is, I would say that it is because of some very past event assigning si

Hey there Ron, Ghia, Long time no read, Ron! Anyways, from GoogleEarth, it kind of looks like the complex has a direction aiming at about 93 deg 47', and it is interesting what shows up along this direction across the globe. I am not sure what there are temple-wise, but landforms and certain sea-floor forms -from the air, mind you- appear to be interesting enough. And sheesh! but those blocks

Heyya Rob, Please, check out Euler's Formula and Euler's Disc on Wiki, and follow through to the Taylor Series and link to Radius of Convergence - I've mentioned Taylor Series previously :) - as some lateral thinking might allow you to conclude that the discs are for 'testing' certain items for their 'soundness'. ps: what is the Hermaka Disc made from? Sincerely, Drew

Heyya Don, That kind of reminds me of an observatory. I wonder, if one were to stand on a small mound, what the alignment across the center(?) from that small mound might view, either at a particular time of year, or all the time? ps: could there be reparation work going on to save the twin-tunnels through the big mound from further deterioration? %) drew
