Hiya Effigy, And thank you very much for this site. Hmmm....not much of a similarity actually to heiroglyphs at all, so that can be put to bed. Have a good one drew

Hiyas, Here in Australia there have been a few reports of heiroglyphs found in various locations, the best instance being those near Gosford in New South Wales. While anomolous images show that this site is a fake - square cartouches, ankhs as a cross with circle on top, a mish-mash of symbol directions, and apparently a combination of period writing styles - the best sign of this being a hoax i

It sure is amazing how numbers can work, but one curious thing is that your figures are rounded up to 6 decimal places, no matter how many times you apply them to other formulas. Could this in some way affect the measurements of various structures and how some distances are slightly out as compared to what they might have ben? This would account for the fudging of so called 'expert' measurements

When I found the carvings, I made some sketches of them and that was all. Even during the tours with others, I didn't take photos because I was hoping for a definite answer from someone, rather than inconsistent answers of what the carvings show and their visual ages as compared to the impossibility of what they show being real. The trip back to them will be not only photographed but filmed, trac

Thank you Gerd. I imagined this would be a troublesome task and lichen might be the best use to get a dating, but I was hoping there might be something more. Crystals becoming blunt, hey...A carving in the same area is verified as being (European)-discovered at a certain time, so I could get some scrapings from that and the one I've found and have them compared, so thank you for that info. I must

hiyas, I am hoping I might get some info on the best things I need to do to get a rock carving's age ascertained. I found a carving a few years ago and because of where it is and where I now live, I have not been able to go there for some time, consequently the past few years have been spent reading all manner of books to try to find out as much as I can about ancient mariners, especially the po

hiya Chelsea, Yeah, wrong message board but oh well. I'm new here too and boy this is an interesting site for topics and thoughts. Question: If you died horribly in a previous life, wouldn't your essence be okay with dying because it would know that there is nothing to be feared by death? If I drowned in a previous life, I would not fear water now because my essence would know that the experien

In the north of Western Australia are rock art sites showing figures riding in boats. There are quite a few of these paintings and they have been extensively studied and tested for their origins. Called 'The Bradshaw Figures', they are somewhat accepted as being non-Aboriginal, and at least 27,000 years old. NO KIDDING... While I am not sure if they show throw sticks because I have only seen a fe

hiyas, while following up research about ancient mariners, i read somewhere that one of the pyramids of egypt (not sure which one) has a chamber inside that has suffered some damage, supposedly consistant with an earthquake hitting the area. i am curious (nothing to do with research) that if the chamber was damaged by an earthquake, why were no other of the chambers and corridors within the pyra

hiyas, nice call on the link,,thankyou. some good info in there because i've not come across much about boomerangs in europe or the near east. i have seen photos of a place called WADI HAMAMAT, just to the east of abydos in egypt, which does show carvings of manned ships with old-style pharoahs(twin-arched headdress) holding throw sticks. these are supposedly 7,000 yrs old. australia is a prob

hiyas, i have just found this site recently because of some research i am doing and was intrigued by the curiousness concerning the boomerangs of tut's tomb. i made an enquiry to the british museum and received this reply: The boomerangs from Tutankhamun's tomb have not been subjected to a detailed study by a botanist, so the wood of which they are made cannot be identified precisely. Only one h

Admittingly the moon is 238,000 miles away but we have a greater gravitational pull, so we're more likely to be nailed. But the likelyhood of either of us coming b4 jupiter/saturn/sun...etc is slim to say the least. It's a physics ting really!!!

Alesandro et al, The crustal activity of asteroids, may well alter the path od an asteroid but is highly unlikely to alter a 'planet killer' into an orbit that coincides with that of the earth around the sun! If you look at early prophecies of the earths's end then there is something on the cards for our lump of rock in the near future, the mayans have nudged at it along with nostradamous. Howe
