Thanks for the links and info, Hendrik. It would be quite a wander through what you posted and the potentials of what things mean, especially the Egyptian image of existence being accompanied by two water-pouring attendants...the waters are the Milky Way, and the primary focus of existence is between those waters which would include Orion, Sirius, Canopus and every other star/ configuration of

"Glyphs N25 through N30 deal with hills, mountains and mounds but are all curved or I would say sinusoidal in nature. The picture in your OP appears much more square- perhaps depicting plateaus or cliff faces. " As I said, there are better images out there, and I recall Robert Bauvall posted some good ones some time back which were of him right in front of the feature and showing a g

Hi BC I'm not sure what you mean...another glyph? As in, another image of the entrance feature, or a link to images of hieroglyphs for 'mountain' and 'foreign land'? You would see by the hieroglyphs that they don't have sharp points but are quite rounded, much like the entrance feature's mounds...so...I guess you might be saying that the entrance feature's mounds do not resemble the hierogl

That the entrance feature shows the actual glyph for ‘mountain’ as well as a pyramid means it has more going for it than just the title of the pyramid: Shining Horizon of Khufu/Ahket Khufu. We know the hieroglyph for mountain is two mounds joined by a valley, with or without a disc between mounds; and ‘foreign land’ is three mounds, no disc, so Spiros, your “The glyph wants to show us that it is

I want to get a feel for what folk might think about the glyph having its origins as being Mount Hasan, near Catal Huyuk. (not a great image but good enough) Of course, this ties in with the Western Mountain - split in two - of Egyptian legends. Thanks

Ah...well...all I am doing is what all else are doing...trying to get that piece of mind that cements itself in our mind when we know our death is coming when we know what death is. We all reckon we are good with it, and we think we will face it head on when the moment comes, but I reckon I will scream at its moment...unless it happens without my knowing. With knowing though? What will you

...but it is for a point. The boat, the pyramid and the star. We can’t do less than accept each boat-pit housed a boat, and we can’t do less than accept each boat was for a different journey somewhere. But we cannot be sure if each boat and each journey was by separate Pharaohs or the same Pharaoh. If the orientation of a pit does indeed identify the midpoint between equinoxes, and the t

I'm not sure how to label 'persons in mythology' other than 'guys'...they are men after all, aren't they? Guys...men...why men?...they ain't plants, are they? Ah, now we might be getting to a little bit better territory if they ain't 'guys'. But still, why 'males'?

Legends have it thus. Do you know another legend that most are not conversant with? Basics: Set creates a box/sarcophagus which entices all at a gala event to see if they 'perfectly' fit inside, to which Osiris - Set having previously measured him to make sure the box perfectly fits him - does fit inside, and the box is closed up and Osiris sent down the river. After Isis finds him and r

As much as we can accept, Khufu built the pyramid but it certainly is planned on 'something', yes? Myth and legend have it that the Afterworld is the destination, but is celestial the only reason for such a construction? Getting up there with the Sun/Re? Following through with all manner of rituals to enable that? You gotta have the right port to embark from, and what better way to have the

Hmm...my estimations place the plan of Khufu's pyramid at about 12,000 BCE. I have terrestrial and celestial and the pyramid all overlaid together...and they look great.

That truly is the wonder about synchronizing with our genetic blueprint/DNA and being able to do so...for it cannot be said that mind works outside itself but has to have a base. I am sure that your own wonderings posit a base, yes? No "I came from a mind that became mine" but rather "something exists within me" yes? Hmm...as I keep playing with Khufu's pyramid and its p

Oh Tom, how I swore under my breath when I read that. You are a cheeky bugger, aren’t you. I guess that your offering of the 90/10 is not for everyone because most would not get it at all...but yes, 10/90 always has to be in mind too, just to make sure that a hole becomes not a quicksand of sorts but a conduit to an elsewhere. Being able to be in two minds at once or one after the other wil

What those fairies are though is a whole different story :/ Hmm...but does my

Just another example of something, Eddie. Why is it that some of our particulars of who we are get referenced back to an ancestor as though their parts came down to us? Temperament, artistic capabilities, social skills, looks, curiosity, etc. Here we are, developed as we are from the very two creative forces that came together in the internals of the mother, which as science would have,

For Doc's estimation of date and orientation, then in Khufu's time, the Sun is at the location resting above Orion, and at midday, very much right above Mintaka. That's the wrong star for Khufu's pyramid, yes?

Hi Madeleine Someone possibly made this observation already, but just in case... That there are three boat pits beside Khufu's pyramid means that either three different pharaohs made their journeys to the pyramid, or the same pharaoh made three different trips to the pyramid. If it comes down to the former, then orientation might not have anything to do with why they are as they are exce

Well, that's a bit further down the line. Delving into the gestation period first and if mum is just a vessel to carry us while we do our own thing, or if she had a lot more to do with how we turn out because of her influence in providing all the things that we needed to grow in the first place. Now, I'm not leaving dad out of the picture, that's for sure. We are created from both, so the poss

Yeah, I'm very sure a particular time period in history is indicated by quite a few things. For Viracocha and OSiris and others, it comes down to whether those guys are part of that period, or if they existed during the flowering of the nations they are part of. Did Viracocha exist around the third millennium BCE, or earlier? Same with Osiris etc. Or are they leftovers reinterpreted, having co

Well, he is supposed to have done both: Set tricks him at a party and locks him in the box and sends the box down the river...while all the guests are in attendance and don't say a word about the episode occurring right in front of them. That's pretty strange for so many to ignore the plight of not just one of their own but the most popular of them. Then Isis finds Osiris and returns him to

Yeah, that is the problem with seeing if there is any connection between the greats from different cultures and nations: which ones could be assessed? I don't know if Thoth is a better option than Osiris, so I'm testing the grounds for the consideration of any that may fit the bill.

" How does anyone test the purely mental domain accurately and systematically? " Hi Tom As much as we have learnt, you have to be in two minds at once, don't you. For your 90/10 offer, it seems you have to be the opposites of it at the same time without losing yourself to either at the same time. Like a comment you made a whiles back about walking past a church and the message

And that's what travelers do with the stars and making constellations of them: each star depicted on the landscape of Earth's immediate surroundings means folk know where to turn and what resides at a destination. A whole constellation is a map when overlaid to a part of Earth by a certain people, and they can travel here and there and do a nice circuit during a year, and get back to where the

Cheers Peter Maybe Auser had a little brother? And I mean 'little'. Seems a good counterpart to Auser and Viracocha's temperaments as depicted in myths and legends.
