Congress would like to take all executive power from the White House period so they can be in total control of everything. Democrats and Republicans would go for it in a heart beat. This way the POTUS has no say in anything so why have one. BTW the speaker of the House and Senate could argue over who gets to push the "BIG RED BUTTON", wouldn't that be special after Nancy has had few to

Yes I know congress can over ride a veto, they don't have the votes to over ride this one as of today. I mean take away veto power period. As long as there is a Republican occupying the White House the Democrats have a reason to end veto power.

How long do you think it will be before the Democrats want to take away the Presidents veto power? I am sure they will claim abuse of powers again.

Miniature Monument Valley Utah is a good description. Limestone Buttes. It looks like there was a sizable bedrock upheaval in the distant past and then wind and water took over to erode the soft rock. Just my opinion.

You know President Trump owns a Boeing 757-200 that he bought from Paul Allen co-founder of Microsoft. The aircraft is 20 years old and not produced today. I can't believe he has never had many conversations with his pilot and maintenance company about it's maintenance and upgrades. I do believe he is very knowledgeable of aviation and I am willing to bet President Trump has flown the 757 a time

I am sorry Lee but I went back again and viewed the video, it's a fake, the lady in the pink dress is the give away. I thought I was the only one who saw it, some guy that has an on-line show was pointing out the same thing plus the guy in the black suit along with the lady in pink were making the same moves as when the gentleman was on the same stage. Sorry. Another thing why was all of the buil

I still don't buy your argument. There is nothing misinformed in President Trumps statement. It was pretty straight forward. What am I missing please be specific.

I can't imagine pilotless aircraft. I do believe there are many pros that don't like our new aircraft with some of this unnecessary technologies. Humans are not computers and should be the master over their environment in these aircraft. I think the air crews are over burdened with technology. I am quite sure the flight crews are well trained in the operation of the aircraft they are working with

Well Weirdo I can tell you President Trump is absolutely correct. I bought a 2016 Lincoln MKX, it has so many things on it that it takes a teenager to figure it out. The instruction manual is two inches thick. You can't buy a car today with just the bare necessities to make it go down the road. The worst part of the new cars is the distraction factor, you can't turn on the radio without being dis

Just recently I have been reading about animals, people and objects being found in places where the ice and perma-frost is melting. Here's my question why wasn't there ice and frost there when these animals died. Doesn't it seem natural that at some point in time things would thaw out like it was before they froze. In other words the earth going back to a more normal state of being, normal being

We even made Christmas decorations with them. I think that was back in the day when us kids had an imagination. Now days some kid might choke on one. After the milkman quit using glass bottles we would get milk in wax coated paper 1/2 gallon cartons when they were empty we would make boats out of them and take them to the creek behind our house and play all day with them in the creek. The boats w

I remember at school the paper straws came with a paper cover on them for sanitary reasons. The paper was loose and you could blow them all over the cafeteria. Then the companies tightened the paper and made them so if tried to blow the paper off, it either didn't go or the end blew out, dang.

The X-15 was close to that. With the right instrumentation it could have flown into space and returned. I can't help thinking NASA expanded the X-15 program to be a take off and land on it's own "Spaceship". Maybe one of the SR71 Blackbird's family of models fit that bill.

When I was a kid in the forties and fifties there was no such thing as a plastic straw until "Mikey D" came along. Companies like Lily and Sweetheart made and sold paper soda straws. Never noticed a bad taste that I remember.

The US is closer than ever to returning our Astronauts to low earth orbit and the ISS without the help of the Russians and that is great. The Space X crew capsule returned to earth this morning right on schedule. The only glitch I could see was one of the huge parachutes fell on top of the space craft. which was promptly removed. It looks like there will be three launch systems to choose from, my

You get no argument from me. The mentally ill is the big issue, a lot can be done to keep guns out of their hands. I suggested a register like the one sex offenders are on. If a person under the care of a psychologist, for example, has made threats of harm to himself or someone else the psychologist would be required by law to report the person to the proper authorities for investigation and poss

I had read sometime back that in the UK knife attacks were on the rise because of strict guns laws. I was saying that even if you took the guns out of the big picture other tools were still available to hurt someone. So if someone is prone to violent behavior a ball point pen becomes a weapon.

I thought the Barnum and Baily Circus retired but looks like they had one more "Big Top" show to perform. The major "Jackasses" were in the center ring and the "Clown troop" was in the other two rings, what an awesome three ring circus, LOL.

The UK stats show if a person wants to do great bodily harm to someone including murder there are tools other than firearms to accomplish the task. Take the guns away and you are still left with a large array of tools to kill somebody, if you wanted to.
