Hi Carol The standard way of opening a link in a new tab is to click it using your middle mouse button. If you're on a Mac you can Control + Click (or shift click, or cmd+click, I can't remember exactly). Ctrl+LeftMouse also works on PC's to open links in a new tab. Does that solve that problem? Luke

I'll put the Mark All Read button moving to the top thing on my to-do list, and try to have it done in a couple of weeks. Sorry for the delays with that.

Agreed, I will do something with the quote button too - either moving it to the bottom of the page, or having it jump like the Reply button. It's on the to-do list now. Thanks

Yeah, a Dark theme, like the old forums, is planned, but I can't do that for probably a few weeks, apologies.

I think this is fixed now with auto-redirection. Could you check one of your old bookmarks and see? Thanks

Hi Aine I'll put it on my to-do list that will probably be taken care of in a few weeks to make it so that the reply button jumps you to the bottom of the page. I noticed it too and it's annoying. Sorry about that.

Sorry, phorum email is on hold while we get it sorted. Hopefully within 24 hours it will all be clear and working again.

Hi Fuzzy As mentioned here: I'm going to try and create a new theme that is similar to the old phorum so people who prefer that can switch back to it. Might take a while before I can get to that though, so in the meantime apologies that it's difficult to read.

Hi Aine I don't believe that's possible from one button, unfortunately, but you can open the various posts in your browser tabs and hit the Quote button underneath them, and then copy the bits you want from the various posts into the new post you are making.

Hi Elo RE Your post here: It had extra (img) tags in after every image, which stopped everything underneath the first image from displaying. I edited that extra BBcode out, and now it all seems to be working. For sending me more things, try the PM feature. Underneath this message you'll see the following buttons: Options: Reply•Quote•PM•Follow Topic•Report Hit PM and send me the

Multi line signatures appear to be working, rpH. If you see this post by Aine, you can see her's in action. I just checked your account and there seems to be nothing in the signature box. Is that what's causing the problem for you, that your account's sig content just got wiped somehow?

Thanks Aine. For anyone wondering, at the bottom of the page there's a button called "Switch View" which cycles through Threaded, Hybrid and Flat view, for whatever preference you have. Same goes for the list of threads on each forum.

Hi Dennis Thanks for the feedback. I will try to get a Dark theme (as it was before) implemented asap, though I expect this may take a few weeks. I'm going to try and get this images problem worked out asap. This is the post you're referring to, right? It appears to me to have something to do with using bitbucket, which redirects from the image URL to a page with the image embedded o

49. IE Edge
Hi Susan Are you using Internet Explorer? If so can you try hitting F12 on your keyboard, and then clicking the button that says "Emulation", and then under "Document Mode" selecting the option that says "Edge". Once you've done that, does the site suddenly look a lot better? I think the problem is that the site isn't telling your browser how to render the pa

That's a good idea. I will try to add that in the near future (probably will take some weeks). It's easy enough to implement, it's just a matter of doing all the CSS styling for the original skin colours.

Hi Carol I'll look into disabling private messaging on an individual basis, but I don't know off the top of my head how possible that is. The good news is that the messages live on the messageboard in your private message folder, and are completely unrelated to your email. Also currently the maximum number of private messages you can have is 5, so once you've got 5 then you won't be receivin

Quote Dan Brown has written a massive world-wide bestseller by creating a fictional mystery around Dante. The real-life mystery is much more intriguing. We are privileged to host this original article by Jonathan which looks at the strange parallels surrounding the fictional character Robert Langdon in Dan Brown's new novel Inferno, and the real-life mysteries surrounding Dante Alighieri, the g

See: QuoteA brief look at Hindu erotic mysticism, its emasculation by misogynist priests, and its evolutionary messages for our age. Centralized power hierarchies don't just suck humanity dry politically and economically, they have been stealing our sensual and spiritual thunder as well for a very long time. We show here how they did it and how to get it back. An interesting presentation that
