When I was a boy, the pastor of our Sunday school tried to explain to us the difference between the soul and the spirit. I never understood what he was saying then, and I don't understand it now. I have never in my life heard a meaningful definition of either of these terms.

Verner gives basic data on the Red Pyramid on p. 462: Length of sides of base: 220m Height: 104m Angle of inclination of walls: 45° 220m = 420 cubits; 104m = 198.5 cubits. These figures do not add up. The 45° is plainly wrong.

Let's not forget the Papyrus of Merer which proves that Khufu was the builder of the Great Pyramid. After all, isn't this what Creighton's hoax is all about - to disprove that Khufu was the builder of the pyramid and that therefore the pyramid is much much older than we expect, hopefully around 10,000 BCE, in keeping with Bauval's alignment with Orion's Belt?

The association of the Great Pyramid's latitude with the speed of light has been completely debunked. It makes no sense whatsoever.

I believe it was Smyth who posited that the Great Pyramid's measures were based on the dimensions of the earth. Smyth was driven by a Christian religious fervour - that the knowledge of these dimensions was given to the ancient Egyptians by God.

Lelgemann's description of the relationship of the remen and cubit is confusing. He seems to derive the cubit from the remen, being 1c = √2 x remen, without first defining the length of the remen. In my understanding, the cubit comes first, being derived from the human body. The remen is the half-diagonal of the 1c x 1c square, and approximates to 5 palms, but is not exactly 5 palms. For large

The facing is made from blocks of slope 60° (7:4? 12:7?) lying on a base with blocks that slope inward at 8° (1:7?), making the slope 52°. The base length is 200 cubits. If the facing was intended to be 7:4 and these blocks lay on a flat base, then the height of the pyramid would be 100 x 7/4 = 175 cubits, the same as height of the Meidum pyramid.

This pyramid has a base of 100 cubits, the same as that of the Bent Subsidiary Pyramid, which is located nearby. Evidently the White Pyramid's dimensions are a referral to the mathematical cult associated with the 4th dynasty Dahshur pyramids.

I am interested in the dimensions of GI-d as well. The dimensions of GI-a, GI-b and GI-c are base 88c; ht 56c, which are one-fifth of the main pyramid. There is an implied pyramid GI-e (Haydn Butler labels it GI-t) - the Trial Passages pyramid - whose remains show that its dimensions were (or were intended to be) base 110c; ht 70c, one-quarter of the dimensions of the main pyramid. Based on these
