Hi David, It has already been documented that artsists (of any level) have a different, or hightened sense of perception. The five senses are not exclusif to oneanother, but work in unisone, theyinterconnect. That's what i think anyway. Also emotions are connected to this idea, like Uma said. Getting p'd off by the 'wrong' colour is a very good example. As an artist, any artist, you have the ab

Hi Jaq, Maths, oh brother, school was a nightmare. Maths, trig, anything explained on paper never stuck with me. Just let me use my hands and a 3D version of whatever will appear. Back in the day i nearly flunked my exams because of maths, but as i was in tradeschool to become a florist i upped my grades enormously because they gave me an assignment to make a very difficult and eleborate bridal

Hi Uma, A friend of mine asked me if i would be a trainingsubject for her colourtherapist study. One of the tasks for me to do was drawing my emotions. I never thought i could but amazingly enough it happened. Later on she interpreted these drawings and she was spot on. I am now training myself to get more accurate about what i see and how i put it on paper. A lovely thing to do. One of my tec

Hi there, I so understand what you mean. I am in the musicbizz (write/produce) and whenever i want to use a soundeffect on a track, delay/chorus/etc., i can see the level and dept of the effect as were it an image or picture, or movie even. Studiotechnicians really hate that, they never understand me when i try to explain what i see, they think i'm weird. And to me it is so clear! Take care,

Hey you guys, What strikes me is that people like you 'n me and lots of others are starting to think in a different way. Or maybe that that large part of our brain where scientists have no real use for is finally kicking in. Who knows? It's apparent to me that in someway it's the right time for all this to happen. Suddenly (meaning the last three or four decades) there seems to a shift in gear w

Hi there, Almost 12 years ago a ElAl 747 freigther crashed on a ten story apartmentbuilding in Amsterdam. It was appraoching the nearby Schiphol airport to land after engine failure. It didn't make it and 'nose-dived' into this building. With the airport only a few miles away, the plane was flying very slowly. Why then did this crash create so much more damage the Pentagon one? I know that the

Hi there, Controversial, aah yeah. What is controversial anyway? I merely used a discription of his mentioned on the backcover, and then i realized it was a comment made in 1989, go figure. (i found the book on a fleamarket) Being controversial 15 years ago is quit different from now, i think. And now returning to the topic at hand and not the person who wrote it. What about that book? Take c

Hi there, I am almost done reading the Eco satire "Stark", written by Englands controversional comediant Ben Elton. In short, this is what it is about. A bunch of the worlds most influential (read ruthless) businessmen are well aware that the way they do business is killing off mother earth. But, they are bound to their holy principle that 'nothing, absolutely nothing is allowed to sta

Hi Geoff, Shows that you hold on to your own thoughts, hopes, wishes, etc. You did not get swept away by the emotions of others, because you don't share them (you hate elvis costello, me too by the way). Are you hard to influence by any chance? My guess is that the majority of those people couldn't care less whoever got on that stage as long as there was a show. Take care, Sean.

12. Aura
Hi there, Halbared mentioned it in his post. 'Aura'. You can change your aura so to speak, charge it electrically, if you will. This can have a domino effect. If the person next to you gets excited about something, his aura changes. Your own aura can be efffected by it and so you too get excited, and the next person, and the next person, etc. This especially happens when large groups of people g

Hi, I already posted something like this before and it's still true, even more. A friend of mine is a psychotherapist and one of her occupational hobbies is studying peoples facial expressions. She uses a scientific approach in this. Her (!) opinion was that this man must have had an intensive training in controlling his facial expressions or he is a complete sociopath. I say , both! take ca

Hi there, It's true, the USA makes the best sitcoms. Overhere in Europe everybody's laughing their heads off, what ludacracy. It really shows how simpleminded they really are (some, not all of them), and it shows that fundalism can be found everywhere. Sean.

Hi Pat, It might be an idea to try something different, something alternative, something people might laugh at. But hey, why not try it. A dear friend of mine was diagnosed with a very aggresive type of bonemarrow (sp?) cancer, now almost 4 years ago. Together with the few other people who had that same rare form of cancer she started a supportgroup. Apart from my friend they are now all dead.

Hi there, Phonetaps discovered in the EU officebuilding in Brussels. Office's of the French, German, British and other members are being bugged. Accusations have already been made as to who did it. No price for the right answer, sorry, too easy. Staysave, Sean.

Hi there, In Olivia's thread about possible blackmail of Tony Blair i replied to Drak's post about the Lockerbie crash wich reminded me of the El Al cargoplanecrash on Amsterdam in oct. '92. Geoff replied to my post with some very interesting links. At the moment the whole world seems to be talking about WMD in the Middle East wich supposedly pose a threat to everyone in that region. Why then

Hi there, Not trying to start another thread here, but Drak's post really reminded of all the secrecy around the crash off an Israeli cargoplane on Amsterdam more then 10 years ago. As i understand it is standard procedure that when the captain knows his plaine is going down, he should make an attempt to make a crashlanding on a big stretch of water, if that's available. Well it was, at the mome

Hi Don, To say that France has isolated itself is pretty stupid. How big are Russia, Germany, China, etc., etc. It's the US that is isolating itself from the rest of the world. No country is actually totally willing to go to war, just because that lot in the White House says it's the right thing to do. The US has some form of grip over every country there is, so bullying is enough to get them t

Hey PR, Actually, i see it as paying tribute to France. When all this is over, every 'French' frie will remind people that France didn't want a war and the US did. When all this is over, the majority of the US people will think "how stupid were we to fall into that trapp". Sadly we have to wait for this untill 'all this is over'. Staysafe, Sean.

Hi there, And they think the ICC is unlawfull???? What a joke. As you said in another post, the US thinks they're above the law. They're outside the law me thinks, they're behaviour falls outside any categorie. Maybe it would be a good idea if all the country's who do acknowledge the ICC come together and put pressure on Cuba to end to the lease of Guantanamo. Than the prisoners would have to s

Hi there, I wonder how far the US administration would go if the ICC did hold an American for questioning. I learned that the US passed a law wich (they think) would give them the right to liberate said American, with full force if they think it's neccesary. Should my little country, where the ICC is located, be prepared for such a thing? What force would be used? Does the Us adm. really thi

Hi there, I've learned that Blair is going to be on MTV, trying to save some innocent soul's i guess. If he can do his political thing on a music channel, why then are musicians told not to? Okay, it's an award ceremony, but isn't it their party anyway??? Let them do their thing, it's about time the other side of the medal is being showed on national TV. Take care, Sean.

Hi there, I was told you should always keep your house well ventilated, otherwise you might die from lack of fresh oxygen. A typical case of 'throwing the baby out with the bathwater'. How dense can one get?????????? I wonder how many lawsuits against the US adm. this will create. Keep breathing. Sean.

Hello, Fortunately no real terrorattacks yet, but my gut feeling says it won't be long before something happens. I think the trigger will be when the bombs start falling on Iraq. Also that newly found tape with bin Laden's message to the extremists might speed things up. I'm not really sure by the way that that tape is actually real. The whole timing is too convenient. Why not create more pani

Hi there, Stumbled upon this article. I'm still not convinced that cell phones are safe, i think it's far to early to know for sure. Also those amplifying antenna's on rooftops everywhere concern me a little. To avoid any risk (if any) i don't have a cell phone. I must say, i don't miss it at all, i have no need for one. I did my whole life without one so why put up with such a stressful

Hi JP, This reminds me of the Anthrax scare in the USA, a while ago. It was put that it could only have been manufactured in the USA, Russia and ......... guess where else????? Irak!! How sad (for those who like to blame Irak for every evil under the sun) that it looks like the Anthrax scare is coming from within the USA. This world seems to thrive on inuendo. Take care, Sean.
