Good, if not great, question, Don. I don't really think 'we-know' or have any idea, except from what we have 'read-or-heard' about from those who came before us. Then, from this, we must ask ourselves, "Have we actually understood?" And,,, not far from what Sitchin has suggested,,, have we misunderstood what we think is correct??? Everything we 'think-we-know' could well be far from

A bit of history: Quote from article: "The Hurricane Hunters organization actually goes back to 1943, when on a barroom dare, two Army Air Corps pilots flew a propeller-driven, single engine AT-6 "Texan" trainer into the eye of a hurricane. Maj. Joe Duckworth actually flew into the hurricane twice that day - once with a navigator and later with a weather officer. Hi

The view I have held for some 30 years: Consider "all of existence" including "time". The "source-of-existence" designed, created and sustains all of it. It matters not what we call 'it'. And,,, we all have a natural-connection to it. It is not easy to access it but it is quite simple. Stop all thoughts but don't fall asleep and bingo! What you do with it is entire

It all comes down to "belief". Is there any real-evidence of Jesus (by any of his names) being a real-person? Any archaeological evidence? Or,,, did everything we 'know' today come from ancient Rome? Can we actually say "who-wrote-what-and-when"? Deano

Hi Lew, Since I no longer trust the Mod's "Edit Function" I will activate your link here: The easy way to make a link active/clickable is to begin with <http:// and end with 26540> with no spaces between <and>. Hoppy

The header for Dr Lew's reply vanished so I am reposting the reply: ------------------------------ So, I have to wonder about your agenda. What are you truly up to? Is this an attempt to bait me into disputing your mocking claims. I could easily do so but that would detract from the central focus. Hence, one example is enough: I never "admitted" the text was "incorrect"

We should never confuse 'reason' with 'cause'. But,,, we do. Every event has one-or-more 'cause-factors', including a reason. There is 'no-evil' in nature, all-things-natural. Evil is a human-invention and has one-or-more human-causes. Humans may-or-may-not intend to harm or disturb anything. We may well be unaware of the total-results, total effects of our actions. This does not negate our

Hmmm, Having heard what my Dad and Grand-dad said about our Cherokee ancestors, and all of it fit right in with the DJ teachings. The 'fictional-stuff' came after his 9th book. Magical Passes, the Active Side of Infinity and all the Tensegrity stuff came from his cohorts, the new age drugies. Like I said, without taking action on the teachings, it all becomes books you have read. DJ mentioned

Right... No action equals no results. It seems De Mille and other debunkers didn't take any action on any of 'the teachings'. Deano

Howdy Bill, You are right,,, it will work. I began reading his series in 1991 and I was at a loss... Until I remembered, no matter what you think, there will be no change if no action is taken. I discovered it was simple-but-not-easy. But, it has worked well for me and still works. Hence, IMHO, he didn't write any fiction. Much of the DJ-Teachings were verified by my Dad and several of

Hi dEb, Interesting stuff. Back in '99 I got an AOL-Newsletter about scientists who had said: "It appears the soul exists in the blood." (The soul is a form of energy) This helps explain my sensations when (1996) they injected dye into my blood stream. (To view blockages) My entire body felt "hot" the instant the flow of dye started and the dye was "instantly&q

Learning my son was in rehab with Castaneda in the mid '90s, I began investigating. It was rather obvious Castaneda's mind was no longer "normal" but he had already established Cleargreen in an effort to "make progress". He, along with a few cohorts, desided to create a business out of a cult. (Against the advice of DJ, "Not-for-personal-gain") As a result, al

Thanks, Daniel; This invites memories of wonder for me. Strange but very welcome events; I sit at a park bench and within minutes, more than a dozen ducks waddle from the pond, to my table. They all sit, gradually stop quacking and tuck their heads beneath their wings and go to sleep. They remain this way for over an hour and finally "awaken" and head back to the pond,,, afte

Hi Brian, First, let me say I agree with Daniel, on the idea of individual choice. After reading all of the first 9 of Castaneda's books, 3 times, I was suspicious of him. When I read The Active Side of Infinity, I knew he had missed the point. Actually, he missed all the points DJ had tried to get across to him. In spite of many warnings from DJ about the dangers of using "the l
