One real reason for most I would say. THE BLOODY BIG MONUMENTS pretty simple really. No one is that interested in there daily drugging lives of the egyptions, we just see these hulks and think who why and what for? Its the mystery and romance of a good tale with so many twists and turns. And the more you look into it the more it becomes a mystery eg masons, other world monuments, religious s

Heya, I would try 'the Jesus papers' Followed by 'corpus hermetica' and if you have change left over 'the holy blood the holy grail' But you have to research into things yourself to get the 'real' truth :)

Two friends of mine from Wales(in the UK) went to work in the US for a couple of months in the first week in a restuarant one of the women got up and shouted to the other 'I'm going outside to smoke a fag'. The americans with them cringed. Language barriers are there for a reason :P

Men 'bond' whenever men meet. It hust so happens the most intense situations drive more bonding. However I would dissagree that bonding is causual to male bonding only that it uses this trait to its end. Its a fundemental part of 'maleness'. I would dissagree with war being a fundemental part of Maleness tho. Its most definitely heirachical ego, using the male bonding process to its own end.

For those 30+ and especially from britian: Those were the days.....kind of puts it all back into perspective. Just for a minute, forget everything stressful and read this............... Close your eyes and go back in time... Before the Internet or the Apple Mac. Before semi-automatics, joyriders and crack.... Before SEGA or Super Nintendo... Way back........ Your welcome. A plasma is another state for matter. You already recognise liquid, gas and solid, a plasma is the true forth state where the atoms in the plasma have free flowing electricity because the gas is too excited to hold onto the electrons(electricity). But if an atom gives away these electrons this atom becomes the oposite to the electricity in charge(the force that does work for the

Hormones and pheremones may also play a part. I have the same problem, my wife is very dark and I'm very light skinned. I get eaten alive by almost suicidal mosquitoes and midges whereas she happily sits through it with no effect. Also I have a worse reaction to the bite, maybe there is a link? Something to do with hormones and the histilogical reaction being favoureable?

Hi They are made up terms for science fiction, but impulse is sub light speed and warp is light speed and above. However warp travel has been looked at in all seriousness as a means of propulsion because it actually obeyes special relativity in that it cheats. Instead of moving the craft you actually minipulate the surrounding space time(like gravity) by stretching and contracting it enough to

There is no single way to do this but the most obvious ones should be able to be removed by right clicking them and looking for some option that is labelled with some type of 'go away' option. One other way is to go to the C:\WINDOWS\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp and delete the offending program icon there.(these icons all start and run in the background on boot up) The more difficult w

Thats true but its impact is less than negligeable. Even the most sensitive instruments will compensate including GPS. What you really have to worry about is if this is a general trend over coming years due to some change in environment! just note things mentally and try not to be overly paraniod you may at least be objective. Not a personal dig just something worth noting.

The governments spending has always upset some and brought joy and security to others. Its a bit like people fearing open markets cos there jobs could go elsewhere more competitive(someone gains someone loses). At the moment I dont really care the whys when so many people face such hardship. I'm honestly shocked and gain some solice from how just about everyone wants to help in the current cri

Hi Deadstop As a GH fan and avid reader I can possibly give you an insight into the books he's written that may be worthy of a read for an ortho with a grudge :P Despite seeing Graham on a Micheal Palin program I still chose to take a chance and buy one or two of his books and the first I read was a scorcher: I thought his fingerprints of the gods took the 'holy grail' mystery and gave i

Ah yes He actually mentioned all this article did, in defence of his claim. He also says he has been 'recognised' as legitimate heir by the other royal houses(who are funnily enough as he claims it, also members of this fraternity). He also claims that this is common knowledge to everyone who studies such matters who isnt influenced by the official brittish view of history. Namely the later b

Thanks for the replies so far. But I have o mention my point of view of approach. It seems odd that the masons(however allergorical it may appear) would choose to view such a subject as the satan and lucifur/lucifer in such differing ways to modern christianity. Why I am intreged is because allegorically THIS is the point. The message often is 'hidden' in some fashion but this is not. Its an

That would be most helpful. Yes it is in reference to Pikes writtings but also many references to lucifer/adonia/satan and the mixing up of the terms in modern times. As I see it the masons make clear distinctions over who lucifer is and satan. From what I can gather modern christians have interpreted something in scripture totally differently to most learned masons. OK heres a brief outline

Hello In my internet travels Ive found some odd references to both these terms but seem only to find some kind of disagreement between Christianity and Masonic imagery and belief as to what is what. Is there any mason out there that can comment further on such things or perhaps clear up the issue for me. Cheers.
