There are some fingers of interest. 16 fingers = 1 foot 0.75 inches x 16 = 12 Imperial inches 0.825 inches x 16 =13.2 inches and this is the Saxon foot and Indus foot 0.729 inches x 16 = 11.664 this is the Roman foot And 24 fingers = 1 cubit this is just a normal cubit in systems of measures. Same all over. But 25 fingers = 1 Royal cubit in Saxon/Indus feet 0.825 inches x 25 =

Hi Merc I think about this, and maybe you and others may also give it some thought , the GP base is 1 and multiplied by 2.5 EW then 3.2 NS gives AN AREA OF 8 OR 2 CUBED AND TWICE THIS RECTANGLE GIVES 16 with a square root OF 4. Think of the Great Pyramid base as 1 give it what any length you like but you can do this, Jim

Merc Jim and all Let us begin with even number and end with even number using pi. If this is ok ???? Then we begin with 7920 You guys know I do like the Indus Valley measure 13.2 inches and I like the Imperial measure 12 inches, So I am going to stick with those. If the Earth has an average diameter of 7920 miles and you know it is pretty easy to see the connection with

Happened on the road to a little town called Texas. Queensland still has it's border closed. From what I have heard the truck was un-registered and the Driver had a suspended licence. He tried to get away with it and posted this himself.

I opted for the later version with Silbury."' These are of course all numbers easily seen in the GP for example. 1728 / Pi / 500 and 1729.249823 / Pi / 500 ........550.03948 and 5500 digits is 1/2 the base of

This vid provides a reason why warm water in the ocean near the Artic may contribute to climate change. Now where the warm water comes from, I dont want to say, because I just dont know. I do know Fuku is spewing out quite a bit of contaminated irradiated super heated water. But that is nothing really. Anyway for interest this vid shows how weather in the Artic can move cold weather sout

Hey Dune I get slightly different dimensions. Petrie gives his mean in his 1883 edition for outside L 103.68 8.64 imp ft Width 41.97 .. 42 , 3.5ft Height 38.12 + Lid 9.9 48.02 .. 48 4ft 8.64 x 3.5 x 4 = 120.96 cubic ft The reason that is important is it's connected to the 2nd pyramid volume. The outside volume is also connected to the inside. 120.96 / 3.125 = 38.7072 cubic

Hey Dune Great stuff. Volume of chamber 5280 cubic yards. I have not checked it but I think it is probably right 142560 cubic feet. Volume of coffer 1/2 that number in cubic inches 71280 cubic inches. And the cube root of that = 41.46253983 inches 3.455211615 imperial feet 3.141 Indus feet pi

Manu Quote 'Show me anything in Egypt which is one foot long other than a Subway Sandwich...anything.' When describing the Subterranean Chamber Petrie noted 'The best worked floor surface is just around the square square shaft, 198 below the roof,' Now 198 inches has a name it is called a Rod 16.5 imperial feet. In fact a rod is 2 things. 1st It's a unit of length 5 1/2 yards also

DUNE I dont know how you do it but here is the answer which I have just found after reading your post. People have wondered about 89.62 ripped their hair out still havent got there but here it is at least 99 percent of the way. The volume of the interior of the coffer is connected to the volume of the pyramid itself the volume of the inside is 1/2,200,000 of the volume of the pyramid i

This is probably the best and easy explanation as to why we look to certain numbers for example 864 is an important number when studying the Moon and 108 and 8000. Then use of an eclipse to work out distance to the Moon.

Eddie if you google up Artic blob you are going to get something similar to Pacific blob or New Zealand blob which appeared just after Christmas last year. Google up California blob same thing. These appear to be some sort of systems moving around the Pacific ocean. We just missed one early this year in Australia , it could have wiped out the Great Barrier Reef. But slid down east of New Zeala

Hi Geoff quote 'I’ve mentioned in previous posts an observation that the internal and external dimensions of these two pyramids, and the ground plan between, might suggest a cubit of about 528mm. Should the cubit be 527.5mm then the coffers / sarcophagi could be 130 x 48 x 47.25 (48?) digits and 140 x 56 x 65 digits (the apparent foot would be 16 digits = 11.87 inches). Not surprisi

The coffers of both pyramids although of different dimensions contain the same number in inches and feet. 'pyramid of Menkaure. In the main burial chamber of the pyramid they found a large stone sarcophagus 8 feet 0 inches (244 cm) long, 3 feet 0 inches (91 cm) in width, and 2 feet 11 inches (89 cm) in height, made of basalt.' The volume as you may see = 70 cubic feet 120,960 cubic inches

Jacob,Dune,Geoff,Think Thanks for the replies and Dune your 230.4 inches same number as metres 230.4 used for base of pyramid. One thing out of this is one size will not fit all. And Think engren's 3 4 5 triangle the 3 = 15 royal cubits x 20.625 inches = 309.375 inches 25.78125 feet for the diagonal of an end wall. 25.78125 imperial feet x 16 = 412.5 digits same number as lengt

Great post Merc. Quote 'He put this forward to suggest that Stonehenge's latitude of 51.1788293 or 51° 10' 43.785" N can produce the number 21,600, but it only works when you stop at the minutes, so '43.785'. (In any case he is using a slightly different value for the latitude but that's beside the point) In proper sexagesimal form Stonehenge's latitude might be written: 51; 10, 43, 47, 7
