These stone yurts has been reburied in 8000bc, could it be from a seismic activity in the Anatolian fault-line? The pillars has been damaged and carefully reassembled before. So I was looking for dates for my ancestor god, Nimrod/Hermes. There is the legend that he witnessed a lava flow and figured that a sun is a fiery ball, mapped the solar analemma and wore it on his head as a crown. So I l

Hi people, Hope you are all well, I am back. So I was looking at tribal tattoos of berber/kurd/yazd women. There are cultures in Dwarka where they have them. They are very similar, it wards off evil, the tribal man would not marry women who were not have them. So was thinking that it might have been an accidental discovery of a primitive form of vaccination. You introduce a small weakened amo

Hi Griff. Do not know, but do not think so. Consuming of the fresh buds expells gastric ones (the ones that get you high/medical ones) the seeds shells also scrape them off the gastric wall (in this case both indrustrial and medical, even wild, non crop ones). Your Toxo is a different kind. There is working treatment for that. The dried medical could help with the side effects of treatment in

Hi, Griff! :) I think that Sapolsky is turning his research towards the mentioned parasite. I am onto them too.Not just the above mentioned but plain gastric ones. I think that by the look of it, parasites did shape human destiny and there is plenty research is being done. Some links for you.... I have this thought from years and years back, that cannabis sativa sativa,

Hi Paul! Thanks for link, of course the ancients were fascinated with all celestial, tresured meteorites etc. I had looked at the scarabs too, find it interesting that they chose this animal as amulets. This is what I found, maybe reason to rever it. Pretty cool bug!

Welcome Mr Gray! Nice to have you here. I am new to board, I got here as Mr Hancock known of his work to question all sort of curriculum and myself happened to pump into some questions myself, so I thought that I find likeminded people. It is a coincidence that my posts had cannabis related aspects to it, regarding the mysterious Soma plant which lists the species as candidate. I do not think

So all I am saying, is that the ancient developed world was well connected via trade routes, the silk road, both on land and sea, we have a quite clear picture of the products traded and the process they produced it. One of the oldest hubs were the Indian subcontinent. From the earliest archeological finds are clear that they used all materials available in their surroundings, had an industry of

Sally, hey, hi! I do not mean to offend. Do not get upset with my pragmatism. All I am saying that, all we have is interpretation and world views. Happened to be that I am very good at interpreting, I do understand how languages work, how symbolism works. I see that you like the Sumerians. My mother tongue happened to be...Sorry...(out of 52 Sumerian grammatical rules matching 51 with my mother t

Hey Sally! Nice to hear from you again! Thank you for links! The solar analemma can be mapped just as the text say, through a piece of black cloth. From a yurt type arrangements, all you have to do is pierce a hole in the felt at the same time every day for a year. You do not need to have a camera. So it can be done, my thinking was that the moon can be observed and mapped without troubl

Was pondering again on my Eve, Lilith and snake... So one of my snakes might be gastric parasites, miss classified by ancestors not knowing taxonomy. Have another snake/dragon. Bit of explanation: I am interested in timekeeping, was reading about Nimrod/Menrot/Hermes etc. Saw that Mr Hancock is on to him too...Nimrod was the first king who ever wore a crown. He saw the sky in a black cloth,

Yepp, just refreshed my memory about Lilith. Our proto Eve. Not very mild mannered, least to say. Slayer of children and sucker of blood. So here you go, deal is a deal, cannabis for tree of life, Lilith and vampires as well in the bag. I am going to grab a beer. Cheers!

Hello everybody again, Was going through the text concerning soma, (mandala 8 and 9) and it makes sense to interpret the mandalas as praising the product, their techniques to produce the colours, promising customer loyality, listing trade partners. I do not want to copy paste large block of text. I feel a bit bad for people who suggest that the soma is some sort of a psychoactive compound.

Hello everybody, again. There are a lot of debate and many try to identify the sacred Soma "plant". I think the "drink"- the liquid might have come from murex shells and it is the sap and colour produced by it. I think Shiva lingams are to produce murex dye and Soma might be the liquid that produced. In the Soma mandalas and soma sacrifice there is a lot of fleece and woo

Very complex and fantastic, agreed. I try to read, keep up, well everything, I am looking at the development of our species, we get grips of hand eye coordination, we walk and we talk, in that order usually. Was just thinking, that how much dexterity we had in our hands before we started to walk, compare us to ape cousins, if they to leave the forest and walk how would they evolve, why we were fo

Yepp, larger brains. Our neurocortex started to fold onto itself to accomodate more imput, so it is an equal reaction to what? I think I missed adapting to changing environment, putting pressure on our species, sort of getting balled out of original surrounding, nomadism might be a factor.

I saw Deep1's thread, what makes a civilization truly great? Saw a miriad of answers starting from our point of view, as we observe from here, saw all the great answers along the lines of taking advantage of our circumstanses for our betterment without causing harm etc. I think it is an important question as well. Some say it is language, our ability to communicate, writing, that we are able to c

Hi people. How about not fighting over the peeps around the pyramids? As you see, we moved a lot about...They are lot older than we are led to believe. Do not let yourselves led. Egypt is not a homogenous country, has a miryade of nations, I do not think that it was different in the past. Populations seem to congregate at ports and waterways for trade and other contact. The "pharaoh&

I found Heracles and Hiram in India. This thing is getting worse by the day....Was reading about the Somnath temple. What frustrates me, that it is obvious for me that shiva lingam culture is to do with the dye of murex, but really, there is noone who see this? Ever? Anywhere? I was thinking to go to uni, but by now I am not sure that I want to be credited. By the look of it I would get an F. For

Hi Sally, nice to hear from you! I gotta go to work again so I am in a hurry... I do like Gimbutas, although she is considered a excentric. Well we are all here:) How I ended up in this forum, is that I was reading apocryphal literature, looking for Nimrod/Menrot/Hermes.... etc as I think that timekeeping was the big new ideology-very much to do with wheels as technology- that was spreading

Hi Deep, I try. But genetics and languages are not behaving the same way. Both very complex but while a language or culture you can aquire, genetics are a set you inherit. The problem with the genetic study is that it is still a new science, the genetic material perishable, further you go back in time, scarcer it gets, we just do not have enough samples. There are some but I think it is not good

Hi! Just read the "Horse, the weel and the language" so it stirred me toward Gimbutas. I am very interested in languages, I speak quite a few and cannot keep tabs on how many I can read right now. I am very interested in comparative linguistics, grouping words by their meaning and subject and have a look at in different vocabularies. What I do -all the time and cannot shut it down in my

Well, would be an excellent thing, I mean that we do more sport. I remember couple of years back I went to this festival, there was this english lady doing a "giving birth" workshop. She came back from south america and the people he visited had this lovely way of giving birth. When the time was nearing to "dar a luz", the couple just started to cuddle and massage each other,
