Today is the 125th anniversary of the composition of Waltzing Matilda in 1895 by Banjo Patterson. He was trying to impress a young lady while visiting Dagworth Station near Winton Queensland. Every country has a special song or tune for which they feel a special affection and Waltzing Matilda is one tune that Australians relate too. And what a strange coincidence to find this video produced 25

You know Merc I had not studied a Draconic cycle I looked at metonic cycle and a thirty years cycle which is present in the Muslim calendar. So when you came up with...... Quote'which is pretty much 3,000 lunations in days (88,591.77 days). Why would the Giza builders define the site as 4 lunar years x 5 draconic years? Might the first and third pyramids have been partly defined in referenc

Brian thanks for starting this thread. Jim A father passing by his son's bedroom, was astonished to see the bed was nicely made, and everything was picked up. Then, he saw an envelope, propped up prominently on the pillow. It was addressed, "Dad." With the worst premonition, he opened the envelope and read the letter, with trembling hands... "Dear, Dad. It is with great

Hi Merc quote "I can't tell you how many Spanish papers I waded through, looking for better measurements, (ok, about 5 or 6...) and then I saw these, by Jim Allen. One thing of interest I did find trawling through the Spanish papers here: a picture of the substructure, figure 2. (no mention of a sub-substructure though!) Orlando J. Casares Contreras's paper' Your not a policeman

It will be interesting to see what the reaction is. Personally I think everyone is entitled to believe in God if they want. This guy Morrison will do his job to the best of his ability. But some are going to play politics And the media is the leader of the pack..

Dune Take your base 191.1168 and find perimeter x 4 = 764.4672 Treat the perimeter as the diameter of a circle and multiple by true pi = 2401.64453 Then divide the circle by 6.6 = 363.88 however if you took it as 365 and work back The perimeter = 766.8 and side = 191.7 feet. I like your square root 36525 so yes year all over the pyramid.

Hey Dune In Indus measure 365 cubits X 24 = 8760 digits / 16 = 547.5 Indus feet. Convert to imperial feet 547.5 X 1.1 = 602.25 and divide by true pi = 191.7 feet. They have inscribed a year into the base of El Castillo which is famous of course for having 365 steps. You sure about the measures? Jim

I had a small operation yesterday to remove a BCC from my nose and have a skin graft to cover. It was only a local anaesthenic so I was able to join in the discussion on the Virus. The surgeon and nurses turned to the restrictions being put on Booze outlets. Pubs and Restaurants are closed of course. They have restricted Australians to 24 bottles of beer a day and twelve bottles of wine

Dune Quote '181.44 feet' Great find. Also 181.5 would be good in Indus feet 165 Indus ft perimeter though 660. You know with El Castillo there is an entrance next to main stairs and on entering find the architects have built over pyramid. They kept the old stairs under El Castillo and you can walk up to the old temple where inside there is the Jaguar throne. I got permission to go

Merc Secrets why? Quote 'But isn't that the thing with so many secrets, they're actually quite banal when you find out what they are. It's the mechanism of keeping the secrets that's interesting, the power play, the intrigue. I guess secrets are all about club membership, your loyalty being rewarded over time with gradual divulgences.' There at least two pyramids with base 346 feet

At the level which Petrie took his base is 4153.6 inches with a mean error of 3 inches. 346.1333 feet. The base which Edwards has is 356.5 feet. I have wondered if Petrie's base may be 346.5 feet the combination of the numbers 3456 and Edwards base 356.4 feet combination of 3456. Now to phi 1.618 for ease the architects may have used 1.62 in every day calculations. The height 220 x

The length of a year for Mars generally written as 687 days. When looking at Phi 6.87 is a really interesting number. Because √6.87=2.621068 And the sq root =1.6189 a Close approximation to Phi And sq root =1.27236 slant angle of pyramid So yes of course they new Phi. 687 Indus Valley feet =755.7 imperial feet. In the 1993 reprint of I. E. S. Edwards 'The Pyramids of Egypt' his placed an Addendum p.194. "In 1989-90 the French Archaeological Mission at Saqqara began to excavate a row of three small pyramids of Pepi 1's queens which faced the south side of his pyramid. The work is not yet finished, but it is already known that the base of each pyramid measured about 66 feet square and that the hei

Over the next twenty or thirty years Tepco is going to allow the flow of Contaminated, Irradiated, Super Heated water into the Pacific ocean. Have a Corona a lot better for you.

Dash located Petrie's station points and refined Petrie's data. We still are no closer to discovering where Edwards got 356.5 from? But I do
