Eddie, are you saying that it's okay to put fake ads on certain pages and not others? This kind of stuff shows up everywhere, and entities like MSN, ostensibly a news agency, turn a blind eye and raking big money.

Speaking of fake news, how often do we see garbage ads on major online sources. They are everywhere. Surely, this is something that is going to have to be addressed in coming years, along with fake political news. MSN had an entire page of them scroll down. I sure am getting sick of this intentionally misleading bull shit.

Perhaps you were set off by the compromises that academics have to make, constantly, when they look for funding? Lots of straight jackets to wear in that game.

Daniel, It's been three days since Barbelo asked you, twice, regarding your general preparations going into aya and if your preliminary work includes anything like what he mentioned, in significant detail. I would hope that this isn't your way of answering him, silence. The thing is, you are an internet influencer when it comes to such matters, and your silence could be taken as indiffer

"I would need more time so I will come back on it." Please do! Maybe this, if I knew you well the day before you did your 23-day experience, how would you seem different, and how would you say you were different the day after this journey? : )

"Isn’t a concern for the planet Earth pretty much the same as concern for one’s own life Lov?" Eddie, imo they are NOT the same. Just look at those who will gladly rape the environment for their personal gain, then say that the environment is "fine, just fine" always. Lots of 'self' love there. Problem is, it's waaaay too selfish.

Sorry Ray I'm just not buying your approach this time. For one thing, I would imagine you've thought little about the cost of getting a proper Aya ceremony going in North America. We've had many chats about the importance of experience, you and me. You seem to be trying to convince yourself that you can not try this for some reason that you can justify, one that involves comparing your ep

Thank you for clarifying. Graham seems to get the same sense, as I've heard him speak of "mother" ayahuasca on more than one occasion. 21 in 23 days of doing anything is cathartic. May I ask, how did this change you, or your self definition, or your metaphysical beliefs?

No offence taken, you guys simply put it in the more appropriate context. Then again, at times setting does seem to matter.

"A $60 fee to participate in a religious ceremony? Sounds like a recreational "trip" to me. GimmesomeRoy would be there; Baba Fats? I don't think so." Yeah, but you're just playing the role of skeptic here anyway, so you're first impressions should be taken in that context.

I looked into this after you posted, Daniel. I had heard that it had become legal to have substance based religious ceremonies in some North American jurisdictions. I hadn't known that Health Canada had authorized the importation of aya for religious purposes... Here's one from TO, where it says that the host, "James asks guests to donate $60 to attend a ceremony. The money covers

The process of extracting meaning can be exhausted at some point for some experiences, but NOT for sacred experiences." I quite agree, Malcolm.
