everything "messes" with your brain. sleeping, not sleeping, food, sound, sight or any lack of sensory input. tetrahydrocannabinol does not by and of itself cause psychosis. and actually may protect the brain from alzheimers disease.

Amy - i have a degree in horticultural botany. there is nothing in marijuana to cause psychosis in anyone that isnt prone to it already. im sorry but anyone that you knew that committed suicide did so because of problems they already had. the weed may have exaserbated their condition but any other "drug" could have done the same. THC generally causes people to become phillosophical

by doing nothing you accomplish nothing. except maybe hurting a few innocent business owners. activism requires attention/media coverage to be effective. doing nothing as a protest will not garner any coverage at all so how can it be useful? also, how can one even gauge the effectivness of a sit out? this sounds a lot like the totally ineffective "not one damn dime day" from earlier thi

Sun - as is true in most cases i agree with your post but was wondering in reference to..... "Secondly, it is the case that modern sexuality is heavily cultural, especially in Western society where sex is used in advertising, movies, video games, and so forth." have you seen or any experience at all with the Japanese take on sexuality? for an "eastern" culture they have som

well thats what mr hughes says. the sheriff on the other hand had this to say...... Sheriff Bob Fletcher said that Hughes was "extremely disruptive" and that "it took some force to control him." The sheriff said that the jail has a lot of recording devices and that they would provide evidence of what happened. funny that an anarchist would want the state to step in and do so

Max - i agree with you. i also think that there are probably many scientists that are borderline or firmly believe in at least the possibility of a bigfoot creature but, as you said, wont risk there reputations by stating such openly. i for one was stunned when jane goodall publicly stated that she believed in the possibility of bigfoot. one really couldnt ask for a better endorsement, at least

Obeone wrote: > Well, any respectable scientist > would never admit to believing in extraterrestrials, or > Bigfoot, or Atlantis ..etc, thankfully this is not true. today we do have respectable scientists that outright claim to believe in bigfoot or at least believe such creatures could exist. when someone crawls out of the woodwork with dubious claims one need only look to these s

of course we are. do you really REALLY think otherwise? good lord the conspiracy theorists ARE alive and well.... if someone was trying to take out obama do you honestly think they would attempt it with the old exploding emergency ramp trick? this isnt a cartoon. obviously the nefarious characters would use the trusty moon based death ray or if they really wanted to ensure the job they would sen

when you hear hoof beats, dont look for zebras. it is what it is, a mishap. if some shady group cared to take out obama there are much better ways to do so than with an emergency air slide. please. "lets take out that fool obama" "okay, how should we do it?" "we'll rig the emrgency evacuation slide on his chartered plane and hope that it causes some kind of pandemon

where in this story do you come up with "theyd like him to have an accident"? are you joking? i could just as easily infer...... the pilot MUST have been smoking weed obama is having an affair with the lady in the photo on page 2 the air traffic controllers were really eighth grade girls on a field trip OR.... you could read a bit more before jumping to wild and ridic

BB - sorry but the legend was around a bit before "uncle al" " In 565 A.D., though, Loch Ness's story was written down. The account tells of Saint Columba who saved a swimmer from the a hungry lake monster. From then on rumors about the creature were repeated from time to time. " onedrop

Sun - "I have other, more theological reasons why I believe that it is horse hockey but " i would be interested to hear more concerning these reasons. Sun - i saw a program, TLC/history/dicscovery ??, regarding the Bible code not long ago. the proponents seemed very genuine and truly convinced. however, those of the opposing view stated that you can find the the same matrices in almost any book. i believe they actually tested it on Moby Dick but cannot be sure. i have wanted to read the original book for some time but have not gotten around to

well Marduk if you are going to force this political discourse, it should be the "comedic turkeycrat" after all wasnt Kerry the one who "reported for duty" as it were? and im sure you know that i simply did not want the conversation to turn into serious political debate. we have plenty of time and space for that later and elsewhere. onedrop
