The austerity measures in the UK 2010 to 2017 were estimated to have cost over 100K lives, the financial debt because of the lockdown is estimated as our entire second wor

I apologise if this sounds harsh, but I look to the Swedish method of control and see a country, albeit with a higher death rate, that won't suffer the deprivation of surrounding countries. in the UK we are tal

I've never been slagged off for holding doors open, but I hold doors open for men and women. What I don't do, and might be seen as uncomfortable, is to get to the door first hold it open to let women through, bowing or commenting as you do so. I think those days should be gone tbh. Cheers Muppedo

Hey, In the UK, Johnson won as the conservative candidate against the left wing Corbyn Pretty much the entire establishment was on his side given the consequences to the rich should he lose. However, listen to his TV debates or interviews during the campaign, it was worse than embarrassing. Painting buses on cereal packets, losing the thread of speeches mid-sentence several times, solo platit

People globally are really concerned, I was in the Ukraine last week and there were riots about returned nationals from China. I didn't dare say I'd been to London chinatown a week earlier. (which was absolutely empty by the way) The press are having a field day and creating clickbait all over this. It would be good to get a sense of perspective and see how the infections/mortality rate comp
