I used to think this was a glyph. I am no longer convinced. It may be some kind of construction aide to fit/lock another block into place. Or if may be the result pf robbers /explorers attacking the stone trying to gain entrance. We just don't have enough information. It certainly has not a thing to do with mountains in Greece.

This from the intro to his podcast: "Creighton is an engineer whose extensive travels have allowed him to explore many of the world’s ancient sacred sites." This is rather misleading as his "engineer" reference is only slightly, technically, hardly this: "Engineers, as practitioners of engineering, are professionals who invent, design, analyze, build, and test mac

Answer to 'where are they?" From the comments at Jason's blog: "Diana Muir: "The deal will continue. I threw them away because, at the time, I was convinced they were a hoax and I was being set up. I had several people telling me they couldn't be real and I didn't want to 'that' person. Plus, I'd only met Scott once and at the time felt like I was way in over my head. I pan

I am reading it on my iMac through Amazon cloud reader. Very easy. I am impressed with the superb scholarship - probably more information on Vyse and company than has ever appeared.

Scott, Your book blurb mentions the "eye-witness testimony of Humphries Brewer." You do not have nor do you present eye-witness testimony. "Eyewitness testimony is the account a bystander or victim gives in the courtroom, describing what that person observed that occurred during the specific incident under investigation. Ideally this recollection of events is detailed; however

That whole thread is so instructive on the inanity of ignorance masquerading as knowledge. And look at all his fellow travelers chiming in agreeing with him. Look familiar? What a waste.

Very interesting. "This is not the first time that archaeologists have found such skulls — several other nations, like Alans, Huns, and Samaritans, used special techniques to change the shape of skulls and necks. This was allegedly done by the nobility to underscore their status. Normally this was done by applying tight bandages or putting rings on children's heads early in life, when

I would not hesitate to call Martin Stower an excellent scholar and researcher - exposing the weak and even reckless arguments put forth by conspiracy enthusiasts and pseudoscience popularizers from Sitchin onwards. He has actually helped Scott over the years in cleaning up his research techniques and un-evidenced conclusions. Of course Scott had the right to ignore many of those insights, hen

Interesting...thanks. I wouldn't call it a hoax. More like a possible misinterpretation of the results. "Hoax" can have nefarious implications. I don't think they set out to deceive.

I don't know if this will work. Here are links to the Facebook page of the Ministry of Antiquities. Ministry of Antiquities وزارة الآثار July 19 at 5:01 AM If this doesn't work perhaps someone with a Facebook account could relink these images -one of which is a drawing showing the schematic of the "potters wheel"?
