In Mesopotamia they are depicted as being held by fish/bird/men (gods). I think Graham mentioned that the "fruit" they were picking (apparently to put in the bags) look like pine cones and pine cones look a lot like the pineal gland. And that gland, recessed in our brain, is the seat of the soul (at least some folks have been pondering that.

Not sure that Gigantopithecus blacki is within the human chain. From what I know it was more apelike. But not sure that is what your were hinting at anyway. It was a big ape, proving that some primates got very big.

Could you imagine what this forum would look like if it actually was the "Mueller Time" the left fantasized about? Pete Yes, I can imagine it would be full of Americans and not Russians and Russian collaborators. You support Trump, you are a Russian collaborator. But I figure some of you righty's are Russian anyway.

I'd love to hear your stories Sirhope. I've seen UFO's many times, but I've never had any one on one contact. What I can tell you is that seeing a UFO has the same creepy feeling as seeing a ghost. They know you are looking at them and usually react in some way to make you aware of it.

Or perhaps, since they are Russians, they don't care about Democracy, honesty, transparency, morality, ethics, or the law in general, unless it's a Democrat in trouble. Because Russians (our biggest enemy ever) don't like Democrats.

Paul "Why were dinosaurs so big? Why were all predeluvian megamamals in North America giant versions of the same species that exist today. How can everything be much bigger except humans?" I've certainly pondered that very idea. If all these other beasts grew enormous in size, why not humans?

So far, I supposed except for the finger bone, all fragments of Denisovan are skull fragments. Of these, the teeth are basically twice the size of modern humans, the jaw bone is larger than any modern human. One of the artifacts found in the Chinese cave was a stone headband - only it would not fit any modern human as it is enormous. So far, the talk among anthropologist is that "Wow, t

The deficit in March 2019 was the highest ever. So, good economy? My middle class tax cut cost me $2000 more than I have ever paid in taxes. Corporations and the rich are doing fine. Bless their hearts. China and Japan, our biggest creditors, are more reluctant than ever to loan us more money. Our national debt is so large now, economist are starting to talk about the "Chicago Plan" (lo

Mike, what is so disturbing is that 90% of Republicans think he is doing a good job and they are ok with his behavior. Pretty much a reversal of every moral and ethical thing they believed a politician should possess back in the 80's and 90's. It would more likely be conservative Independents that would vote for "any" other Republican. Still a year and a half before the election, who kn

Watching PBS Newshour last night, Amy Walter from the Cook Report mentioned that if all these little obstruction cases hadn't been being leaked (probably by the White House, since Mueller's team were silent during the investigation) and everyone was suddenly privy to them via the report, this would have been shocking to the American public and a disaster for Trump. As they were dished out piece m

Yes, though I am still hoping a massive heart attack will take care of the crime family boss in the WH, impeachment should at least be on the table.

Trump won't allow his staff (current and former) to testify. I don't know if he has any legal footing here, but this sounds like obstruction of justice to me.

They were even able to save the 3rd largest organ in the world - at least I think that is what I heard. As the church was already under re-construction, many of the artworks had already been removed. Not nearly as much damage to the ground floor as I would have thought.

Mike, I'm a left leaning moderate, but you have no idea how good it makes me feel to see that some conservatives realize that the Donald is a threat to our basic beliefs as Americans. Thank you for having the God-given sense to realize it.

Could somebody please point out exactly what you mean by the Democrats "open door policy". Obama is actually thought of as anti-immigration and his policies of deporting a record number of immigrants proves it. I would agree that Democratic policies concerning immigrants, overall, is less cruel than most any Republican plan, but open borders? That is BS.

I'm pretty sure that some folks believe the tomb lid of the Maya King Pacal (of Palenque) - though some believe it is an image of Pacal steering a spaceship - displays Pacal at the base of the Tree of Life. John Major Jenkins (RIP), if I'm recalling correctly, believed the Tree of Life as being the macrocosmic symbol of the Milky Way and at the microcosm level- symbol of the spine (with the idea

But, wind is a renewable resource. Once the oil is gone, it's gone. It will be several million years before a new batch emerges, if then. Wind is also non polluting. It's not going to come welling up from the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico causing untold damage for decades or centuries to come. So, it's not as big a health hazard either.

Because the idiot Trump builds skyscrapers, yet complains about windmills killing birds (and causing cancer - what a genius). It's called HYPOCRISY.

We all heard this ridiculous tidbit from the crime family boss dude. Here's a link to an article about how US skyscrapers (like Trump towers) kill 600 million birds per year.
