My educational background is nowhere near that of most posters on this board and thats the reason I don't participate. But I do read and have a interest in ancient civilizations. I read Chariots of The Gods as a young boy and I was hooked. After reading Grahams books and watching his lectures, I've altered my views somewhat. I always wondered why civilizations all around the globe talked about

I will be seeing it soon also. I have been a Sci-Fi nut all my life and have a pretty large hardcover library. Its neat to see novels I read years and years ago turning into movies today. The Hobbit, Dune, Avatar. I think they have done a pretty good job with them too. Now if they could make Dragonriders Of Pern...

Hello Kristin, been away for awhile. Many in Chicago complain that the Hawks are not physical enough. This team is built on speed and finesse period. Thats what got them here. The second game of the series the Hawks came out like gangbusters, big hits, hard checks. They got out of their game and played Bostons game, thats why they lost. Last nights game, I thought, was the best game they played i

Its not over till its over Kristin. Don't give up! I'd like to win tonight in LA and take a 3 to 1 advantage home to Chicago. With Keith suspended and Toews and Kane not scoring, its going to be tough.

Its not like they didn't have chances!! At least four went off the posts early on. Crosby was frustrated just like Toews was. Hawks are 6 away!

That was a heartstopper last night!!!! Since they did come back from a 3 to 1 deficit, I will beat my chest a little bit!!! Eight more to go! How about this interesting fact, the final four this year are the last four Stanley Cup winners!

Ouch!! That hurt Pete, but I would have to agree. The Hawks have gotten away with being a finesse team all year, but this is the playoffs and you better have some guys that will throw their bodies around. I know I have been beating my chest about the Hawks a bit, so here I am, have at me!! You can never say never, but it would be a daunting task to come back from 3-1. I'm very disappointed Ain

Sorry bout that Pete. I was shocked when I read the paper this morning. I always had a soft spot in my heart for Toronto. That game will take a while to get over.

Hawks and Red Wings have a great rivalry. Because they are moving to the east, we will only see them twice next year. Thats a shame, but it is going to make this series that much more exciting!! Were still alive for that Hawks Pens final Aine!!!

Hawks should send the Wild packing tonight. Looks like the Pens are having some problems with the Islanders.

The weather doesn't look good for Louisville tomorrow. Hope there is a break in the weather. I may have to rethink my picks, which almost always ends up with me throwing my tickets away!

I did go back and watch the race. It gives me goosebumps when I hear the call! Everybody in the stands were going crazy! Turcotte said he had never thought about breaking the record, Big Red just decided on his own!

Yes Frac Daddy is 50-1, maybe more by post time. Thats what is so great about this race. All these horses are still young and with 20 entries, anything could happen! Back in 2005 Giacamo, a grey, ( I always put a small token bet on greys), won with Mike Smith and paid 102.00! That small bet covered what I blew on the other horses in the race!! I have yet to see another horse that can even come
