Hi Robert Intense provocation and abuse maybe a just reason, but Dave M was not the one guilty of that in reference to these posts. If you want this message board to be “clean, positive and friendly” then you are one of the people that need to rise above the rest, and set the example no matter how aggressive the post. With respect, Mark

Hi Robert I’m sorry Robert but 75% of your posts contain abuse or rudeness, if this had come from any one else I’m shore they would be on the band list!!!!! You have a habit of opening the post with abuse and ridiculing the person for questioning your infinite wisdom and then totally failing to give a reasonable response to the question being raised, and then you can finish with a belittling or

have you ever heard of the bible code? the theory behind it is too long to go into here, but they give several possible dates for the end of the world, one of which is 23 DEC 2012. it might be interesting to you, don't be put off by the 'one of...possible' bit.

Mantis, Apologies for appearing cynical but your comment speaks volumes. A debate needs two sides taking contrary positions otherwise it will be a 'love in' not a debate. Mark

Robert, You appear very selective in your interpretation of what Don said. He didn't only 'Have a go' at Ma'at. Yourself and Graham were accused of pettiness too. You should all grow up, and that applies to both sides. Mark

This is an unbelievable situation. Talk about over the top. It smacks of playground bullyboy tactics. Is this how all your critics are to be treated? Pick on someone your own size Robert. Most of us who frequent these sites are amateurs. Are we now to be worried that you and Graham will sue us if you feel we have said something, which in your opinion, is libelous? if you keep this kind of

Hi Sandy, Anthony The Tunguska event though more powerful than a nuclear explosion was not actually a nuclear explosion, so there should be no nuclear irradiation found on the site. The question I have is how a non-nuclear event produced such a large EMF? One idea I had on this is that the shock wave that the explosion produced created waves in the ionosphere, which fluctuated in the earth’s m

Hi Jeff,Sandy Sorry Jeff, and thanks Sandy for an explanation. I just assumed that the Carolina Bays event was general knowledge. It has been mentioned by a number of authors in books relating to lost civilisations. Hi Hovis The Romans had a habit of assimilating ancient sites and religions in to there own culture, It was a way of making it easier to take over and integrate local peoples into the Roman Empire. So those Roman sites might warrant further investigation. regards, Mark

Hi Anthony So far your idea sounds good, but one thing is niggling me about it. >>They went into the temple and stripped off every single piece of plaster... every piece of religious text in the entire structure. It was wiped clean. In all other cases where a discredited pharaoh or god has been erased, the process was more of a defacement. Things were hacked away, with out any care being

Hi Chris Yes, Mark Lehner's book is excellent, I highly recommend it. Its valuable reference, which is good for checking data. It has an extensive number of diagrams and photos. Anthony’s suggestion is also a good book, but just check which version it is, Alberto Siliotti seems to have a number of books on the pyramids, all with slightly different titles (they could all be the same book?).
