So the celestial clock would still be the same at any parallel on earth, ex: (equator or the tropic of cancer)as well?

What about the speed in which the planet has been turning? There really isn't any record of the rate of speed change of the earths rotation, except for using the current rate of change now. But like the earthquake that happened in march of 2011, that they say changed the clocks by a mere 1.8 micro second.

Love the book. Great read for helping children and even adults in understanding the logic and understanding of our clock systems.
