... Changing Axis Tilt. George F. Dodwell served as the Government Astronomer for South Australia from 1909 to 1952. In the mid-1930s, he became interested in past changes in the tilt of the earth’s axis. He collected almost 100 astronomical measurements made over a 4,000-year period. Those measurements show that the tilt of the earth’s axis smoothly decayed from 25°10' to its present value of 23°27'. Based on the shape of the decay curve, Dodwell estimated that this axis shift began in about the year 2345 B.C ...
Don: I have not read that book but you quote a source who allows a change of under 2 degree to prove a change of 6 to 6.5 degrees. I am not against a shift per se at all ( I will show you and Gary something a little on in the conversations) but that source you quote is not acceptable proof.
SC: What you have to understand, Don, is that the changing obliquity of the pole indicates a perturbed polar axis. When you spin a top on the floor it wobbles from side to side but ALSO moves across the floor at the same time. There are two things going on.
SC:... In one of the Old Kingdom pyramids, tens of thousands of artefacts (pots, vases, plates, tools and other artefacts) were found in two of its many underground galleries, as well large quantities of wheat and barley seed. The very large amounts of these seeds and artefacts, in our opinion, can in no way be considered as symbolic 'grave goods'. ...
DB: This is at Sakkara and not at Giza. It could just as easily prove the story of Joseph gathering foodstuffs for the upcoming 7 lean years. But I repeat this is at Sakkara AND NOT AT GIZA! Huge difference to your proof.
SC: Djpser's Step Pyramid is pre-fifth dynasty. They were ALL part of the Recovery Plan.
