Yes, I see what you're saying, but didn't it appear strange to you the lack of mention of what they should and would have known if they'd tested the Apollo astronauts for the effects of radiation?
Like you, I don't know what to think. I've seen convincing evidence both for and against. Until we get clear, unambiguous photos, either from an orbiter or from a new landing in the same spot, showing the lunar rovers, the flag, and whatever instruments they left there, we'll never know for sure.
