Finally, I settled on maintaining awareness of the reality of the spirit world through my half century plus five years of living among the Mexicans, learned to observe my thoughts as though I was observing microbes through a telescope, and riveting my mind on monotonus two beat sounds with a metronome, teponachtle, etc. I've had unusually good success. But this doesn't mean that what I do is the ONLY way as some writers have said about their methods. We've all heard that trite old comment: "I'm right and everyone else is wrong."
We must all quit squabbling among ourselves, pretending we're still back at Mt. Meru (Su-Meru), agreeing to agree, agreeing to not agree, not agreeing to agree, just plain agreeing and not agreeing, etc. If we're really serious, we're going to demand that Science step into the picture and get the ball rolling once and for all. To do otherwise just sends us fanning out from Meru and preparing ourselves for another few millenniums of turmoil. I think the world is ready. But are we?
