Dear Nephratari,
If the Hindu concept that mankind must pass through Sansara before achieving Moksha is true, that means that we must learn all about the physical world completely before such can be possible. Not everything is trees, rifers, and mountains. There are also electrons, quarks, and trillions of other secrets we don't know about yet.
I true agree with you that regardless of the problems in this prison camp, Life is truly beautiful. As they say, stone walls and iron bars do not always a prison make.
I have an American friend, now living in Vietnam, who went there to get away from the hectic, pell-mell lifestyle here in the United States, especially in California. I have always said that California is the world's weirdest, most hectic, and craziest ongoing, perennial Halloween party. But how I love this place! I never regretted coming here, regardless of the problems here.
Last year, because of my interest and writings in ancient Hindu history, a Hindu organization invited my wife and me to dine with them. Even they said they thought California is paradise.
