Thanks Michael for explaining to me the difference between the 2 schools.
It makes perfect sense. I am myself from your explanation in accordance with the 2nd school to which you belong.

I hadn't realized that the cave was a metaphor like the reflection or mirror for virtual reality as there are literally today still cave people in the world including former city guys volontarily enjoying this drastic lifestyle.

Yes you are right before the age of the internet our socalled "virtual reality" was quite simply called "illusion".
How many time when I expressed a somehow idealistic idea did I get
the condescendant answer that I had an illusion !

A last question : is vegetarianism mandatory in the vedic conception of life ?
