Ed does a very nice job of showing how some commonly held beliefs about gravity may be instead be magnetism, but in general I agree with what you are saying. More info is need.
I don't doubt that RL will have some very interesting things to show in his next book, and I say this based on his overall presentation. He says that he has replicated one of Ed's devices after what required a "herculean" effort, and he has told GG that he is confident that it will shock the world. This is what I look forward to seeing, RL being able to make his theory sing. I am optimistic that he will deliver.
But to what you are saying, he asks elsewhere in another post how this all might pertain to ancient Egypt. I would guess that several thinkers over on the Mystery board will be more than willing to engage on that. But maybe it's a bit too early, as others will surely become much more interested when his presentation enters the next phase.
