Unlike Posterboy and Susan I have now read about the book, and it is not that hard to understand. Lots to think about, but me being old, I will in foreseeable future just be a soul without a body, so it is going to be interesting to find out if souls identify into male/female.

Anyway, towards the end there was this:

create new mythologies that integrate the alchemical union of the lunar feminine wisdom with the solar masculine consciousness (Baring 2013). The archetypal union of the
masculine and the feminine principles holds the promise of wholeness. A healthy future need

I just wonder what makes languages classify things as male and female?

In German, there is DER MOND and DIE SONNE = the moon being male, the sun female.

That some see it the other way round could be understood by the sun being bigger, and the moon seemingly connected with the female monthly cycle.

Thank goodness that English does not have gender differences for objects! Maybe boats and cars? Men like to make them female " fill her up" etc.

GG.
