Hello again, and sorry if it may have seemed like I was off topic in posting the 1895 Kansas study, but I still say it illustrates how dummed down we have become.

The problem as I see it is not that we need to become polymaths. The true polymath is naturally curious in ways that most people aren't. To try to mimic their innate curiosity would therefore be quite unnatural, to most of us.

People with varied talents tend to be more cognizant of systems, which is very complimentary to what you say about spirituality and the polymath mindset.

But this is not the same thing, especially when systems people are working within subsystems that work, rapaciously, against the greater good-system. I see much imbalance that needs to be corrected, and much resistance to that end.

Depends on the system, I suppose.
