My book How Soon Is Now ( www.howsoonisnow.info ) looked at the ecological crisis as a collective initiation or rite of passage for humanity. I envisioned the changes we would have to make to the operating system of human society to avert catastrophe. These changes have not happened yet - though there is an ever-more vocal minority of protestors and activists. The burning of the Amazon in Brazil and the forests of the Arctic Circle tell us we are in a time of rapid transformation. Is it too late to save ourselves from catastrophe? What can be done at this late date?

I will use my book How Soon Is Now for a jumping off point for this discussion.
