For all intents and purposes, the Sun is at its closest point to the Galactic Center right now, or __________ (any other time) respective of human existence.
Not if it is in Binary Orbit.
At some point a star in Binary Orbit will be at its closest point to the Pleroma.
At its opposite point, not only will it be at its maximum distance from the Pleroma, but it will be shielded from forces emanating from the Centre by its companion.
This is the philosophy behind the Yugas and the reason why the Ancient Vedics measured Precession.
