I say, be in the twilight zone between fully awake and falling asleep could also help.
I speak from personal experience.
Robert Monroe of the Monroe Institute has invented something called hemi-sync sounds to stimulate each part of the brain individually. That can lead to out of body experiences in controlled experiments.
I would be to scared to try! But others who have done so have been able to "go" to places and later confirm they really were there in spirit, even if they had never been there physically before or otherwise seen the places.
But what about those who have very little brains, as in mass, and can still function quite normally, at least in daily life? Where does their consciousness sit?
