"It sounds like you've made an a prior presumption about what can and cannot happen under these conditions?"
Not at all. In attempting to explain PK, we're dealing with something very abstract. There's no clear deduction to be made, only some inductions - intelligent speculations.
I don't currently subscribe to a belief in a spiritual realm populated by beings. I could be wrong, but I think the belief in this is the same as the ancient belief in gods. Historically, we have attempted to explain the unknown using anthropomorphism. We heard thunder and invented Thor as an explanation, whereas now we see more clearly that the phenomenon is due to electricity and atmospheric pressure. We have to resist the tendency to invent god(s) in man's image. And spirit beings seems to me to be images of man, just as all the old gods were.
You and I are probably operating under different premises, so we draw different conclusions when attempting to explain things. I will certainly revise my thinking on this if I have clear evidence of contact with spirit beings. I do play with the notion that UFOs are inter-dimensional rather than extra-terrestrial, but I have no firm conviction about this.
