Well, I must say that keeping up with these topics is both exhausting and exhilarating. Stimulus is EVERY opinion; yes, I said a BIG OPINION. Some good ideas and some debunking going on, too.

I don't go for much two-sided contradictory exclamations!!

I read yet I also react, honestly, to a lot of stuff here.

How many times have I TRIED TO SHARE my private consolations about the subject of CONSCIOUSNESS? And the dissecting of words, and the hiding behind "intellectual masks", just exactly like very primitive humans did to enflame others to either fight or run!!!!? This modern internet warfare is very invigorating, yet, LEAVES SO MUCH TO BE ACCOUNTED FOR!!!!

I absolutely agree that the business of consciousness has YET TO BE SOCIALLY EXPLAINED AND GIVEN A CONSENSUS OF IT'S CAPACITIES AND HERITAGE FROM ANCIENT THOUGHTS ON THE SUBJECT!!!!

The visual capacities are NOMINALLY REAL BECAUSE EVERYONE "SEES" INTERNALLY. Why fuss over this very simplistic common trait in EVERY HUMAN BEING? Why debunk one's own mind by deriding the most OBVIOUS CAPACITY of thinking rational through "thought experiments", visualization, mathematical pictures of numbers, navigation abilities through imagery of stars, landscapes of known coasts, memory adjuncts to console or to warn us of problems, sudden ability to "SEE" the solution to problems, and, mostly, to RECOGNIZE familiar scenes or faces or landmarks or dreams or new concepts or just knowing who one is, like an internal mirror?

I have the same basic brain (with a twist) as anybody else's brain. So why the chatter over "differences" that are superficial, at best?

I KNOW ALL ABOUT THE SEEING PART OF THE BRAIN. I have had enough VIEWS to see in my 60 plus years, (do you know how many days that is?) I am eternally amazed how so many folks, family, co-workers, acquaintances and even some strangers have a supposedly better idea of me than I do myself. How can that actually be??? Each one of us human beings has to struggle to be recognized by others, with repetitious words and actions to qualify ourselves in other peoples eyes.

So, I've had my say. Now you can debunk me all you are pleased to do. I just don't care anymore. I am me, just like you are you.

Please pass the biscuits.
