My research is focused on the Hudson Valley and Catskill Mountain region of upstate New York. It contends that some of the man made stone work found in the woods was created by the first inhabitants to populate the region.
The question is;when was that? 10, 15, 20 thousand years ago. The date keeps getting pushed back further by experts, who can't really agree. What evidence is out there that supports a firm, agreed upon date?? What is that date and what is that evidence? In my book I suggest the evidence supports around 14,000 years before present. But I personally feel it's much, much earlier. Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence....so there's probably more to the story we don't know yet.
