Edgar Cayce's concept of the Hall of Records came from altered states of consciousness, where he would occasionally see himself inside a library complete with librarian who would direct him towards books and files in cabinets. These contains the knowledge of the universal consciousness.
It is clear that this is what Edgar Cayce expected of his three Halls of Records. They not only contained physical artefacts, but were also points of contact with the Akashic Records of Madame Blavatsky and the Theosophical Society.
And just maybe that is the Hall of Records actually symbolises a point of contact between physical reality and the source of all minds across space and time, brought together through the process of quantum of entanglement.
I call this information network outside space and time the Mind of God. It is all thoughts. Those of the past. Those of the future. Those of our world, and those of every other world. We can tap into this universal process. It is what aesthetics strive to achieve. It what the hesychests of Mount Athos withdraw into caves to experience - a direct connection with the Mind of God.
Not God himself. Just the Mind of God.
