Another tac might be that the people of Ukraine at the time of inscriptions in Stone Grave were already acquainted with the people they were writing about//warning about. If these were the bringers of the Dreamtime, they were not perceived as potentially threatening by the Maya or by the tribes of the Kimberly. Only by the tribes in Ukraine.

It's the cultural interplay here which interests me, and it is your research home ground as it were.

Perhaps Madeleine has some interesting Sumerian syllables for "hand"?
