After reading the above post I pulled out The Cygnus Key which I have yet to read
and quickly read chapter six.

I hope you continue to follow up on this cult. I will offer a link to possibly connect the dots.

I have longed maintained the Sphinx is a Leopard.

Ancient Egyptian priests wore leopard skins during funeral ceremonies. The skin symbolized the genus of Set, the god of evil, the enemy and the adversary of gods and men. Wearing leopard-skin meant that Set had been sacrificed, the adversary defeated, and that the wearer carried about him evidence both of that sacrifice and of the magic power it conferred. The sacrifice of which the skin was witness warded off the evil influence of the wicked spirits who haunted the dead. Similar beliefs and practices recur among Asian shamans and in Amerindian civilizations.

In Egypt Osiris, as the Great Watcher, is represented as a crouching leopard, with an open eye-symbol above him.

In The Labyrinth Komensky strengthens his fellow sufferers with the assurance, "We have a most watchful guardian, protector, defender-- the Almighty God Himself: therefore let us rejoice."

Figure 223 (an eye) depicts the foreseeing, watchful, and unsleeping Eye of the Almighty, an emblem familiar to India and known in Egypt as the Eye of Horus or of Osiris. The watcher Himself was symbolized by the Panther or Leopard, presumably because of the eye-like spots upon its skin. In Egypt the spotted skin of a leopard was always suspended near the images of Osiris, who was himself represented as a crouching leopard surmounted by an open eye. The name Osiris is said by Plutarch to have been understood as Os = many and Iri = eye, i.e. the "many-eyed."
